This is Conn's collection agency.  Whoever had my number before has these guys calling my house nearly every weekday. I have spoken to a PERSON at least 3 times and asked them to stop calling. Told them I've only had this number for 6-7 months, and they just won't stop. Another number they call from is 409-299-3557.  I've spoken to people on at least THREE occasions and they claim they will correct their records to remove my number, and they have yet to do so.  I've been assured twice today alone that they will.

Conn all day long.  I will give them a day that I would come in to pay my account, but they continue to all day long. They even call after 9:00pm.

Conn's.  calling at all hours. I don't even have an account with them, but I guess they won't take my word for it.

My bill is not due until the 14th and they are calling on the 9th...WTH??  I will pay my friggin bill!!

More of the annoying pattern of calls since Oct 12th 2014.  Every day I get an early call from a number identified only as "Beaumont TX", a different number every day.  Then I'll get several more calls throughout the day from that same number (2 to 6), then the next day a new "Beaumont TX" number calls and repeats this pattern (with other numbers occasionally peppered in, see below).  They rarely ring more than 4 times, and never leave a message when the voicemail picks up.  This pattern has been happening every day since the 12th and continues today (Oct 27th).  I know all these numbers are the same scumbag telemarketer/scammers, but here's what I'm getting:

"Conn's" huh?  Yes, they are.  I have no business with these jerks, don't live anywhere near Texas.

Have been getting multiple calls per day from 409-291-7003, 409-291-8588, 409-291-8803, 409-299-3557, 409-299-3561 and others, since before the holidays of 2014 (it is now Jan. 10, 2015).  They even call on SUNDAYS, for God's sake.  When I pick up (rarely), no one answers, and they NEVER leave a message.  I have no clue who Conn's is - never heard of them, I live in TN and have no business with them whatsoever.  I am over this!  Whoever you are, stop calling me!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

More of the annoying constant daily calls since Oct 2014.  I haven't posted in a while so I figure I'd do a year-end list since my last post on Nov 23.  The number of scam calls I've received is ridiculous, I get as many as 20 a day now, TWENTY (I'm not displaying calls with no numbers here, I get a few of those too).  How many hundreds of calls do I need to get before it is considered harassment?  Phone company won't do anything about it, they want to sell me more overpriced crap.  I'll probably be switching to a VoIP service soon so I can have control over my line without getting ripped off.

Anyway, here's the nightmare of calls.  By the way, I don't owe anyone money, I've never had a student loan, I've never done business with "Conn's" or "SALLIE MAE", these calls are pure BS.  And they never leave a message when they manage to get the voice mail:

I don't know how much more I'll be posting, I think this list gives the idea and I simply can't keep up with it anymore.  I bought a new Panasonic phone that allows 250 blocked numbers and you can set it to not ring on the first ring before it blocks, which has helped save my sanity (I'm not posting the model number here so this isn't considered spam, but it's easy to find with a search).
