I have received four calls in two days from a robot sounding "Officer Victor Frank" from SSA advising me that my SS number has been associated with criminal activity, and to call this number back before legal proceedings begin.  Obviously a total scam and reported it to Social Security Admin.  Out of curiosity, I did call the number back and the first thing I heard was what sounded like children playing near the phone.  Then a man with an Indian accent struggled while saying, "Thank you for calling Social Security Administration, how can I help you" in very broken English.  I advised him that every number they're calling from has been reported to the government and DO NOT call my phone number again.  He quickly hung up.
