Received a call around 7pm. No one said anything and hung up quickly.

Someone called me from this number with a thick accent asking for me by my first name.  Knowing it is probably a fake bill collector I told him he had the wrong number.  He rudely asked me if my number was ----------- then said it's the right number [***] just not the right person, so don't say that then hung up on me.

He said F@*% You like 5 times screaming at me when I told him to take me off his list. He kept going on about what are you a rich [***]? You don't need money. I was calm and asked him to remove my number from his list and that is when he got hostile and using profanity.

A male called me with a thick asian/middle eastern accent and asked for me by name.  He stated that I had received a grant.  I told him I was stopping him as I was not interested.  He got upset and said why are you not interested why are you not interested.....I hung up.

Same story as everyone else. Got a call earlier today from the same people from this number as well 623-443-4520. and i got one from Flatrock MI from this number 734-783-2717. im sure these #'s are all from the same people...

call you cell phone ask for some one tell them that not you they call you out your name and tell you if  know that person they are

One of the most common collection scams is for the creditor to actually tell you that they are going to take you to court or have you arrested if you do not make a payment. A creditor can call you and ask for payment, but under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act a creditor is not allowed to threaten to take you to court, to sue you, or have you arrested. If someone does use this scare tactic refuse to deal with them. Let them know that you know what the laws are.
