The same number has been calling me recently!

Does same eith me. My frend said it was a bill collecter

Called, left voicemail to call back. Stated it was regarding a hospital matter. I havent been to a hospital or even a doctor in a long time!

Just called and they said it was a hospital matter- seemed odd. I gave them a different birth date than my own he said he could not talk about the matter further. Seemed fishy.

I got a call from this number. I asked what it was regarding? The person (Freddie) said they needed to speak to me directly. I took a message and called from a State Police phone line. The guy asked me if I was calling for a Mr. Morris I replied yes. He (Freddie) said he needed to speak to Mr. Morris. I then looked up the number and see that it's either a scam or a bill collector.... Shyt we are just recovering from a COVID shut down ... So I blocked the number... Be Aware ....

Your post is confusing.  You are saying that the State Police were shut down because of Covid?  It also would seem that as a LEO you are not interested in a scam call so you blocked the number?

I got a text from this number saying "How are you" but do not recognize or have the number, so I don't trust it.

My wife took the call they had her DOB first last name claiming they were a lawyer office and would be taking us to court over a medical bill. My wife asked for more information and the rep. Said we already sent you information & tried calling your husband.. I still need to do more research but I have no calls from this number but do get a scamish feel from it.

I believe it is a bill collector called Gragil Associates. They have a large bag of tricks to get you to answer. I have paid the bill to the doctor's office, and Gragil is asking me to prove it. They can call their client. They have the money.
