IRS Scam

Someone called from 415-231-3785 and left a message on my voice mail.  The caller claimed to be someone named Niki who wanted me to call her back immediately BEFORE the IRS began to take action against me.  I checked with the H&R Block office which usually does my taxes for me and they told me that it was some type of IRS Scam.  I couldn't figure out WHY the IRS would be calling me, since my return usually lists the telephone number of the H&R Block office which prepares my taxes!

Thanks Paul and Eleanor for leaving those comments so that I can block that number.  I usually don't answer numbers I'm not familiar with.  I got a call from this number on Feb. 9th twice, one at 9:58 am and the other at 10:47 am.  I'm very glad I didn't answer.

IRS scam robocall---FRAUD!

Just received a message from this number claiming that I should not ignore the call or action would be taken against me. I thought this sounded like a scam. Thanks!

Same info as most of the comments above. I just filed my daughter's taxes and they were accepted yesterday - then she got a call today with CALL BACK IMMEDIATELY...DO NOT IGNORE. This is such a scam - BOOSHIZZ! (415) 231-3785 was the number and a female left the voice mail.

I received a similar voice mail message from a computerized voice claiming to be IRS Agent Nicki Johnson. She wanted me or my attorney to call ASAP to 415-231-3785, regarding a very important IRS matter. I called back from a blocked number and when I wouldn't provide any info, they started cursing obscenities and hung up. This is definitely a SCAM!
