I just received a call from this number to verify our information for Assembly Magazine. We are a Controls Business and do receive different magazines. I think they get our information when our employees go to trade shows. It is highly irritating to have to answer their questions, but so far no one has asked for any personal information other than address and email so they can send magazine electronically. I guess I would rather just answer the call and get it over with than have them call back a million times until someone answers them....

Long enough. We've learned how to ignore foreign SCAMMERS who don't earn enough in a week to feed one of our dogs for a day.

Free trade magazine update. Asked for a former employee by name, when I told the caller that person was no longer with the company, she I asked to speak with their replacement. I asked her to cancel as we are no longer interested in receiving the publication. She insisted that the person was highly qualified to receive the free trade publication. I asked again to cancel.

These people buy info lists and send their free trade publications to everyone on the list. We receive new magazines every week for people who haven't been with the company in years. I've called publishers and cancelled, then a few months later the magazines start coming again because they bought a new list. It's a never ending cycle.

Shar............it is TOTALLY NOT LEGITIMATE for a trade magazine.  If you are foolish enough to believe them, they begin to phish for more information than any real magazine would ever need.  The number they call from is listed on many "lookup" sites as  a 'MAJOR HIGH RISK SCAM".     Be very wary of even saying hello when they call.

    MOVERS NOT SHAKERS
This number calls our business constantly, mispronounces the name of the CEO and demands to speak with him without an appointment. When we ask what they want, they don't say anything and again ask for our CEO. It's like they hear a woman's voice and just keep repeating themselves until they put a man on the phone and then they say HI YOU WANT TO RENEW MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION and then my CEO bites our heads off for letting this jerk through to his line. BECAUSE THIS COMPANY IS FREAKING AWFUL AND I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF PHONE SPAM - OMGODDAMN I CANT ANYMORE

A man with a thick accent and a line that went quiet whenever he wasn't talking into it called to send us "free magazines subcriptions" but needed our publicly listed higher ups to verbally confirm. We are a non-profit and we don't need magazines. This is a phishing scam.

A woman called this time and was barely able to speak English asking to speak to an employee. She said she was a different company name than the last time these people called us, and asked again about confirming the sending of magazine subscriptions that we don't use or need.
