- Not Fooled| 3 repliesThis number came up on my cell two times. The was a message left stating that if I did not call back that I would be in a "serious legal mess". I called, message box was full however they called back stating they were from some Federal Bureau and that I have three felonies against my name and to take down this number to call and get my name cleared.
- not fooled either| 1 replyThis company called me for the same reason. Who is this scam artist.
- rob replies to not fooled eitherlmao they have been calling me too. have ethier applied online at any payday loan sites? i did but i never took any money
- Are You Kidding Me| 1 replyThis number has called me on numerous occasions saying that I would be facing legal issues if I did not return the call. I asked for them to send me something in writing; the guy went on, and on, and on about how he couldn't then kept returning to his "legal issues tune." Just be careful. I sense a scam artist.

- David ScoutenYes, got a call for 415-742-7911 today and yesterday was number 00-0000 same people thought saying they were from the Federal Bureau of Legislation stating I had 3 criminal charges against me. This happened after I had recently applied for a PayDay Loan but was never approved due to my credit history, so no money was ever distributed. I have bank statements to back up my claim and also complete printouts from the 3 credit bureaus also supporting this. It's definitely some scam. I informed them they need to send me written proof supporting their allegations, or I will report them to the authorities for harassment.
- Caller: Federal Bureao
- David Scouten replies to Kristi@Kristi - They know a lot about you because the use phishing websites to collect and sell your information to the highest bidder. I suggest you get supporting documentation from your bank and credit bureaus. You can go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get a printed report from all 3 major credit bureaus for FREE. (no strings attached) You will need to provide them with some personal info but it is absolutely safe.
- Kristi| 2 repliesDavid.
Thanks for the info. I was worried but something was not right. I applied for a payday loan loan and I never took it. I thought about it and if I am broke I really don't need take a payday loan out to get more behind. - David Scouten replies to Kristi@ Kristi - I'm surprised Montel Williams doesn't know this was a scam. It was the same exact site he promotes Money Mutual that I went to to apply for the loan initially. I was declined for a payday loan because of my credit history (unpaid medical bills which I am STILL paying for) and redirected me to a installment loan i was eligible for but never applied for. If he only knew that they were doing this I'm sure he would have something to say about it.
- David Scouten replies to Kristi@Kristi and for ANYONE who has received these threatening calls please submit a complaint report to the Federal Trade Commision https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
- christy rutherfrodThey started calling me last night and it scared me. I first thought it was really but when u could here yourself talking i knew it was a cell phone and then the last time i answered the phone you could hear little kids in the back ground yelling..i screamed at them and told them they were not who they said they were. I got one call so far today but i did not answer it..I am going to call the state police..
- mr.spencerI too have recieved phone calls from this number and have experienced the same conversations that everyone here has had with them. The people on the other end of the line told me that they were coming to arrest me on a certian day and I told them that I would be waiting for them. They then told me that if i did not cooperate then they would use leathal force. Lets just say the local police and FBI are involved now.
- Not AmusedI would like to thank all for the information. I was not worried about the calls, however, I am also not amused. Arrest warrants, last chance warnings, legal representative's number requests, and the like have been coming for weeks from phone # 951-286-4942. The message always requests that I return a call to the 415 area coded number.
Fed up, but thanks again for the reassurance that I am not the only one who is "Not Amused".- Caller: Federal Bureau of Legislation

.............................................☺☺☺:( - Homemaker replies to Micheal stokesYou didn't get paid nearly enough to post this BS.
Remember people, you CANNOT be arrested for a civil debt!!
Merry Christmas everyone!! - Lord James.I have just been reading about this same scam on another site. One of the contributors said the person calling gave his name as Sam Pattel. In 2007 my company was physically robbed of the equivalent of $160,000 by an person called Samuel Pattel in Milan, Italy and his accomplices Marco De Santos (possibly ddosantos or santes) and Joseph Pattel. According to one of the business networks he was supposed to have moved to Sarasota, FL in late 2007, early 2008. This man is a con man and thief. Thanks to the Internet, we were able to disrupt his activities in Italy and stop him from robbing a couple of their house that they were selling and the money they would have got for it and stopped him robbing another company of a similar amount. He speaks English with a high pitched accent and has a favourite phrase "You know what I mean." If it is the same guy, somebody get the B*stard.
- Lord James replies to Micheal stokesIf that is Samuel Pattel from Milan, Italy or Rome then he is a Con man and Thief. Have nothing to do with him.
PS. What sort of massage do they give? Typical bad spelling just like most of the con artists.
