Phone rang at 12:45 am.  I tried calling it back and it said not in service.  Number shows San Francisco

Interesting - both my next door neighbor and I got a call from this number last night around midnight.  She tried to call it and it was out of order.

I also received a call from this number at 8:23 pm, answered and they hung up so I called it back and got a female recorded voice saying "All our customer representatives are currently busy and try back again later" and also that if I wished to have my name removed from their list to leave my full name address and phone number, and that it would take 24 hrs to have me removed from their list. OH HELL YEA!!! Like I am gonna do that!!!!  lol   One word comes to mind, IDIOTS!!!  I am reporting their number to the DO NOT CALL NATIONAL REGISTRY LIST CENTER. They will deal with it.

These people call, listen when you answer, they stay on the line until they hear your voice become more and more annoyed and then they hang up in your ear.
I'm beginning to think it is someone getting a kick from our frustration or anger.
I think its sick and very bothersome. I was pulled away from a very important issue just to find out it was for nothing!
I would like to know who is doing this.

Caller from this number just said "Shut the f!@# up" and hung up

They just called me and didn't leave a message.

Been called 3 times, usually no one answers. Just now some guy asked for kataan. Sounded like he was in a bar though.  Prank callers?

Got this call and answered it which I usually do not do for calls I don't recognize.  
They just hung up on me.  Glad I looked up the number.  Who has time to do this stuff in this busy world we live in!

I received a call from this number.  They asked for my mother and I said "she's not here can I take a message" They said, "No message" and hung up the phone in my ear.  I'm pretty sure they have to identify who they are and what company they're from.  This is harassment.

Got a call and it just played music.  I started hitting random numbers and the # and * keys - they hung up after about a minute.

received a call....caller id said out of area..let the answering machine pickup and they hung up

I got a call from this number tonight, they knew my name and when they asked for me, i asked who was calling and they said it was a travel agency from virgina but on caller ID the name was san fran, CA. When I said she wasn't available they said "yeah right" and hung up... who the hell are these people???

block it if you can

Received call at 2:07 pm this afternoon.  Gave a name that I did not catch and said he was with some travel agency.  I said I don't take phone solicitations and then hung up on him.

Calls from this number have been coming to me repeatedly since December 2010.  I read somewhere that they got my number from a contest/drawing I entered at the Southern Women's Show for a free trip.  Thanks alot Southern Women's Show - shame on you!!!!

Someone used to be on the other end when they called, but now no one is on the other end...

They called to say they were going to have me arrested.. I said ok, then added them to my blacklist of numbers that will never be able to call again.  Caller ID said California
