these people called my cellphone and left a message saying my car warranty was about to expire, this was my last warning... this is the fourth call i've gotten with the same message- one from nevada, two from california, and this one from toronto. obviously a scam. do not press one, do not call them back. i have never owned a car. FYI i live in toronto, and all calls have been to my cellphone.

I received the same message several times and they keep on calling. I don't even own a car, so I have no idea what's going on with this, but I wish it would stop.

This number has been calling me like they know me.

I've not answered it as of yet - but after checking this website today, I think I will answer their next call and give them the run around of a life-time.

are you with virgin mobile?  Many of us started getting these calls in january.

I received thoses call too.  They are all from different phone numbers in the state and they call every day or two day.

I have received calls every other day from this number. The message left on my voicemail is do not let your warranty expire on your car etc..

Got a call, and knew it was a bogus number so I waited until I heard a voice on the other end, but there was nothing.  Then it sounded like my camera went off, as if I was taking a picture.

I keep getting these calls as well.  I know that my friend gets the same call to her home number and her cell number.  They are trying to sell car warrantees
I have a used vehicle and no warrantee therefore its for sure a scam.  I just don't answer it anymore...

Me too! Received several calls from long distance numbers on my cell over the last few weeks. I thought they had stopped. Now they have started again from this 416 number. 2 calls today so far and it's only 1:40pm. Didn't pick up either time, and no message left. The number they are calling is a Bell Mobility number. Ba$tard$!

keep getting called by several numbers twice a week or so about the warranty thing. not impressed. never answer it but they leave voicemails at times. does one have to be on the do-not-call list in canada to get this to stop?

I get it everyday at least twice.  I'm with Bell Mobility (I know I know).  I NEVER got SPAM calls until I renewed my service with Bell.  I'm beginning to wonder if they sell their subscriber list.

I continue to get these calls everyday.  I have a new Iphone and am with Rogers, so its not specific to Bell.

I've tried blocking via my cell carrier and they won't do it- this number has called repeatedly & i've had the same long distance from the states- mostly California about car warranty

I have a bell number and they keep trying to call during classes. I reverse 411'd it and no hits. No message left either.

I got a lot of calls from this number, and finally got annoyed so I called them back.

They put you 'on hold' for the next available operator, and when he / she comes on line they say they need to ask you questions before they pass you to the customer service rep.

Her first question was "who am I speaking to?"  And I said "The wrong person - I don't own a car!!"

She promised to take me off their list, we'll see what happens.....

recieved a call from this number twice today...talking about my car warranty...I have never even owned a car...have also recieved calls like this but from other numbers...obviously a scam...maybe the phone company just wants to rack up the long distance charges because they wont even help...

Called my Rogers cell phone.

Same spiel as others. Warranty on my car about to expire. As others, I don't own a car. also received this call from other numbers.
