They keep calling our line and leaving messages for someone who doesn't live here.
I refuse to call them back and give them the information that we do not know this person.

So far, Excel has called me using all these numbers: 416-646-9028, 416-646-9029, 416-628-5652, 416-640-3252, 416-504-0357, 416-504-8527, 647-722-6772. No message left. Dead air when answered. Scammers in my opinion.

Add 2 more Excel numbers to my previous list: 877-318-9029 and 416-640-3251.

scam 100%, they have so many numbers, from last report of this number you can say they go back to previous number to call every three months. those out of country call centers cant pay much that they try to scam clients.!

They are calling me in sundays and late in the evening and it is just a recording.

Calls at all hours of 7 days a week. I never answer just put them on reject. Then they use a different number ...... so annoying. They never leave a message. They can bite me.

Get multiple calls a week, never answer these calls, just scamming idiots.

What a SCAM.  Not a real collection company.  They steal your information to commit fraud. A total joke!.  Excel is not a real company, anyone who says they work for them is just trying to steal information to commit fraud.  Do not be stupid, never provide information over the phone.  REAL companies will contact you with proof/valid information by mail.  These "A" Holes are the scum of the earth who prey upon vulnerable people using fear tactics.  All B.S.  Not real.  Not real.  Not real.  Just ignore them same as you would those idiots who call and pretend they are from the CRA.  BOGUS.  BOGUS.  BOGUS.  FAKE NEWS.  FAKE NEWS.  FAKE NEWS.

Received a call today.. A woman asked for first name only, I could barley understand what the woman was saying. Then an automated call came through and I took it. Same company and woman, who began to yell at me for hanging up. Attempted to explain I was not the person they were looking for (same first name, but wrong last name) and the woman got very angry. I asked to have my number removed and I was yelled at saying she would not and the burden of proof was on me to prove who I was! Ridiculous that 2 calls come at the same time with a very heavy accent and such ignorant telephone manners.

You were told nothing but lies.  This is a phony debt scammer.  That bit about asking for the wrong person is to throw you off balance and then to scare you.  Ignore them, do not talk to them, that only keeps them interested in calling. Block the number, but they will probably try using an alt number.

Everyday someone calls at 7:45am then hangs up very annoying.

Everyday from the same number? Did you consider call blocking?  Did you consider unplugging your phone from 0730 to maybe 0815?  If you always do what you always done...
