It's a company called Just Energy, they are trying to say that when National Home SErvices was in your house to exchange your water heater, they noticed that your furnace was not an "Energy Efficient". Funny thing is, is that I live in an energy star home and caught them in a scam :)

Had the same situation as Kat.  

It is National Home Services calling under the name "Just Energy."  

The call "Hi this is xxxx from National Home Services.  Our technician noticed when we were installing your water heater last year that your furnace is mid-efficiency...."

I have an energy star home with a Carrier Infinity Furnace (which is not mid-efficiency).

Similar situation as above - they called & said they installed the waster heater 2 years ago but that it was not energy efficient and needed to send a tech out. They had no information on when the water heater was installed (the date) or what type of water heater it was... then how can you tell me its not energy efficient? When I called the number back I got a very vague answering machine  "You have reached the general mail box, please leave a message after the tone" - no company name or anything (totally sketchy).

Received a call yesterday from Maria at National Home Services, she left a message on my cell phone. I just tried to return the call but the number she gave me 647-849-0026 I get a prerecorded message from the phone company saying "2T2 Call didn't go through"  Thank god for small miracles by reading the above posts I have learned she was probably going to tell me they want to replace my furnace.

Calls frequently !!

Just missed yet another call from them but this time I called them back.  Which to my surprise, someone answered with the above named company.  I kindly asked if they would taken our number off their companies calling list and she said she would but would taken a few days.  Now lets see if she "really" took it off.

Just got a call from them, it's National Home Services. Said we might be eligible for a $60 rebate from the government and asked for age of the house.

I don't want to receive spam calls from 416-849-0026,
and it looks like somebody uses this phone for spam calls - for years already!
Please stop those those calls!

Same number -- but now they're telling me I may be eligible for a reduced Home Assessment -- sounds like a new scam -- you could hear others talking in the background
