The recorded message tried to say that the Dept of Motor Vehicles that people overpaid insurance .I hung up but I do not need calling from this company

Same; claimed to be a "public service" call to notify me that I may be paying too much for auto insurance.  Press 1 to learn how to reduce my insurance.  

I pressed 1 and was cut off.  

They called to my cell phone which is not allowed unless there is a previous business relationship, plus just to be double-sure my cell phone number is registered on the NO CALL list.  So the broke the law two seperate ways.  

I did not call the number back.  Others on different web pages have reported that it is a 'dead' number.

Recd call from this number. Did not answer as did not recognize. Should not have been calling my cell.

I just got a call from this number...same things as reported above re: "public service" about auto insurance over payment. The recording said to press "3" to be removed.  I did so...probably will only confirm to the company that is doing this that my cell number is a good one!!  ;-/

I got the same recorded call as above.  It should have went to voice mail.  Somehow the phone kept ringing until I picked it up and then hung up promtly on the call.  I noticed that my cellphone stated I had missed 3 more calls from the same number within one minute's time.  This is my cellphone and it is on the no call list.

I got a call from this number on my cell which is on the do not call list.Glad I didn't answer.

I didn't answer and tried to return the call, only to hear, "your account balance is insufficient to place a call to that destination".

Same crap as everyone above.  I can deal with these losers when they call my landline. But these guys called my CELL PHONE as someone mentioned above.  Pisses me off!

Got a call from this number but didn't answer. No voicemail left.  Based on other notes, I'm glad I didn't answer.  I am also on the do not call registry.

how did they get my number? I think it is a insurance company!

Received a "public service" recorded call saying that based on records from the department of licensing I was overpaying on my auto insurance and to press 1 to reduce the rate or press 3 to be removed from the call list.  Call was made to my cell phone, which is on the Do Not Call Registry.  Call was disconnected before I pressed anything.

Got a call on the cell phone, didn't answer ...and  no message left.  Obviously some sort of slimey scammer, as I rarely use the cell phone.   If everyone STOPPED answering unknown numbers, maybe there folks would find something else to do?!!

I received a call from 425-207-4209 and when I answered it, there was a pre-recorded voice that stated the Department of Motor Vehicles has determined that drivers pay too much for car insurance (false statement).

When I pressed "1" for more information, an operator came on the line and I asked her what company was calling.  I had to ask twice.  She answered that they were the National Insurance Center and that they represented several of the large insurance companies such as State Farm, etc.  So, are they actually licensed to sell insurance?

As soon as I thanked her for the little information she provided, she hung up.

I just got a call from this # on my cell phone, they did not leave a message. I called it back from a different phone and I got the message that "this # is no longer in service" I am on the "do not call list" so these guys are breaking the law "A LOT" it looks like!

Same as the other calls listed above (claimed to be a "public service" call to notify me that I may be paying too much for auto insurance.)  Called the number back and pressed for answers, was told it was National Insurance Center.  Requested and refund for the in-convenience and air time - they hung up.  Called back again and requested to speak with a manager, was told manager not available and they again hung up.
