Some guy named Sawzon? Wanting to talk about marketing my website.

A guy named Sam called my cell phone today and left a voice mail saying that he was supposed to "review" my website by the end of the day. He also called last Friday and said the same thing. My wife called back and got their voice mail, left a message and they did not call her back. How do they even get your cell phone number?

I called them back and spoke with Jared.  The name of the company is Future Ranking.  They got my phone number when I applied for a domain name for my website.  He said they get a generated list of this kind which is public information.

He said his company's objective is to help new websites with search engine optimization.  I chose not to employ their help.  He was very polite and not pushy at all.

I have received 3 calls from this girl and finally decided to answer today. Her name is Simone and she said she is with Optimized Solutions and wanted to review things on my website. I did not hire her or talk to her about my website and I really get annoyed with the underhanded practices of companies like this. She called my cell phone- how in the heck did she get that number?

It seems like godaddy must be sharing information or something - we just reregistered 21 domains and immediately got a call on one of them.  pretty shady actually, either godaddy is hacked or they are selling our information.
