425-296-6589

I received a robo-call to my home phone informing me that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and that I needed to immediately call 425-296-6589 to resolve the issue.  According to Hodges Directory, this number is registered to a Ricky Sanders, on 8th Avenue in Adelaide, Washington.  Calls made to this number received no answer or voicemail.  I do not know this person and I make no accusations against him: it seems equally likely that he is being victimized by these calls.

If you receive such a call, you should know that the IRS does not do things this way.  Notifications come by mail and notice of filings by certified mail.

Got call from this number threatening lawsuit...I personally know someone familiar with IRS they DO NOT CALL with an automated voice.  They will contact personally or via mail.

Yup, I just got that IRS lawsuit call... I have enough stress in my life, so I reacted rather calmly, just saying to myself "sure, why not...just figures LOL!".  First time something like this has happened to me....sought info online and you sweet responders have eased my small anxiety.  Thanks!

I received a message yesterday, Dec 14, 2015, stating that I was being sued and to call 425-296-6589 for more information.
