got strange call from this lady asking me to refinance my loan.  phishing for the next fraud victim.

I have gotten 12 calls from this number in the last two weeks. Don't solicite me if I wanted something I would call you. There is nothing that you can offer me that I want to buy.

I receive calls from this number quite a few times a week.  With all these complaints, certainly you can do something about it.

Educate yourself, your family, and others about spam/scam/phishing phone calls and e-mails. You have already made an important step by coming to 800notes. Be sure to read the various forums and news postings.

If on your Caller ID you should see a name and/or number (or no number) you recognize, don't pick up the call! If you open an e-mail, and the information about how to get off the contact list contains only a "suite number", and no phone number, delete the e-mail immediately!
