Received this call today at 9:15 a.m.  Caller ID said Whitewright, TX.  We don't know anyone from that area.  We didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Received a call from 430-703-0179.  Did not answer as I do not waste my time with scammers and I am almost sure that that is what this call was about.  Just another spoofed number.

When I answered, there was a click, as if they knew they had a live one!  I answered with "hello"...
SHE: "Can you hear me?"
ME: "What can I help you with?"
SHE: "This is Linda, calling about new state burial services..."
ME: {click}

I have read if they ask a question -like can you hear me... and you say yes, they will use your yes answer for their scams to say you agreed to something.

Called this morning, as we always do, never answer a phone number we do not know.  They never left amessage.

Answered a call from 430-793-0179.  A computerized voice said, "This is Linda Harris. . . "  This is the point in a telemarketing call that I hold down the 0 number key for about 10-15 seconds.  Not sure what this does, but it has stopped about 80% of the unwanted calls coming into my phone.

called about state approved burial plans!  Stop the nonsense!

Received this call about 11:30 a.m.. Did not answer! They did not leave message!
Probably scam!

Got my call at 11:39am. Picked up, said nothing and heard robodialler clicking.

I have Ooma for my home phone and if you aren't in my contacts list, you get thrown into voicemail.  This call was thrown into voicemail, so I don't know what they wanted.  It was listed as "Senior Services" on caller ID.  I think we are targeted by scammers because my father is in his 80's.

Caller ID said Senior Services but when I answered they never responded.  I Called the number back and could barely hear their recording.  The usual to be removed from their calling list press 1.  I did not press anything.  This is just a scam where they appear to be after senior citizens.  Why doesn't the government step in.  20 to life should slow them down.

We were told at our Neighborhood Watch meeting with Chief of Police, never to answer "YES" because these scammers record your voice and say that you made a verbal agreement to purchase something.  Best to just answer, "who is calling please?"

I don't suppose this "Chief of Police" told you exactly what type of "verbal agreement" could be made with a simple yes did he?  Did he also explain how that would be legally enforceable?  Oh, and did he take the time to warn you about the scams where people have actually lost money (literally millions of dollars) such as the IRS, computer support, debt collection, car warranty, and various other scams?

This number is being used for Medicare scamming, now. The Caller ID spoof is rotating through:
1. MEDICARESUPPORT (240-725-1014)
2. MEDISOLUTIONS4U (860-207-8305)
3. BESTOPTIONS (615-722-0075)
4. NEWMEDICARE (314-300-3158)
Apparently, the same crooks are using all of these numbers and probably more. Wait for it, and bust them with the US government. They might be a little behind on income tax, too. Oh, oh ...

They've called 8 or 9 times so far today...why set up a computer to call every 20 minutes to a number that doesn't answer?

I blocked this number but still got 8 calls from them in less than 6 hours today as well as 4 other "benefit" and "medicare" scammer calls.

this number calls all day long, about once an hour... just click the hang up button..it is a scammer
