Just called my cell and didn't leave message, errrr!

Same thing for me. They called but left no message. I am the DNC register too. Playing safe and blocking the number.

They called, left no message. Google didn't help with who it was. I called them back and I was given the option immediately to not be called again.

I have blocked this caller at least a thousand times now and they keep calling under a different number.  this time it was this number.   Each time it says "Hi this is Heather and i have important information about your vehicles warranty...".

Auto warranty scam:
Calling from the dealer processing department regarding your vehicles warranty. We sent you a final notice in the mail letting you know that your warranty has expired, and this is a final courtesy call to renew the warranty before we close the file would you like to speak to a warranty specialist? Would you like to speak to a warranty step would you like to speak to a warranty specialist?

This number called me twice within a minute - neither one actually rang long enough for my alert to go off.. no message, called it back and got the "please press one to be placed on the do not call list" so I did that

I block the number every time "Heather" calls and then receive another call from a different number, different area code.  This is a scam. Shouldn't the telephone service provider bear some culpability for abetting this scam and ignoring the DNC lists?

I've answered the call from this number as well as other numbers that had the same message.  If you show interest, they send you to another recording that says to push one number to speak to a rep and another to remove you.  I've hit remove me multiple times and they keep calling.  I finally got it to send me to a rep and when I asked for her to remove me she just hung up on me.  There has to be something we can do... this is essentially harassment.

Well for starters you can stop pushing buttons to be removed.  That only tells them that they have a live one on the other end that will do anything they ask to make the calls stop.  You can invest in a call blocker or a free call blocking app, and you can take the time to report them:
