The DNC is a database used by all the agency's.  Yes, it does apply, but it can't stop illegal telemarketers, scammers, frauds from calling you. Criminals never obey laws, that is why they are criminals.

Just got a call from this number . . . didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Have been getting so many of these type calls (from different numbers) lately!

Missed a call from them, no message left. Glad I didn't pick up after reading these posts.

I'm not sure if it helps, but you can file a complaint at FCC.GOV.  I get a reply for each complaint that I file.

Call from 4407886520 about credit accounts on my cell phone. When I pressed to get live person they came on, I asked them to remove my number they simply hung up.

I just received a call from this number ...just moments ago.....and since I didn't recognize the number ...I didn't answer...instead I searched the number on the net and the search lead me here......In reading , nothing good would come from that call.....beware !!!

This exact thing just happened to me.  I filed a complaint on the National Do Not Call registry, since I'm on there too.
