    I received a recorded message from someone identifying themselves as calling from "Card Services", stating that although there was not a problem with my credit card, I may qualify for lower rates and it was important that I contact them immediately.  

    I have received numerous calls of this type and repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list, only to be hung up on when I threaten to go to the FTC, as my phone numbers are on the "Do Not Call" list.
