So I got a call around 10:30am today from this number.  I was sleepy and didn't answer.  I got up about 1/2 hr later and saw this long phone number: 442074144370.  Tried calling it a few times but my mobile carrier VZWireless said call couldn't be completed.  Googled the number and found nothing.  Found this site, now I'm getting a little freaked out!

I just got a call from 442074144370 and its some kind of "Debt Relief Agency".  They've called both my cell and my home and I cant get them to quit.  All they would give me was that the name of the company was "United Debt A" and the operators name was Trish.

I also got a call from this number.  It is the same number as was calling the other two.  I also didn't answer being i'm at work.  Random.

They just called me on my cell phone.  It was "Debt Relief Agency".  Machine said I could convert my high interest rates to as low as 6.99% (or there abouts).

I got the same call, just now. Freaking hate having this spam call come out of my already limited cell phone minutes. They better not call me again. I'm on the Do Not Call list.

around 12:25 EST, got a call from THE number (442074144370). Didn't answer. I'm on ATT. Don't know anything else about it.

Automated Dialer/Prerecorded Message referring to "final notice" and "your account" prompting a key press without providing the name or number of the caller.  Illegal according to both Federal & California State law:

This kind of FUD (Fear Uncertainty & Doubt) advertising really peeves me; beyond that of just unsolicited advertising that costs me.

Was in a meeting so I missed the call at 11:38 am est tried to return the call from my office phone and came back with a busy signal.  Used the country code of 011-442-074-144370.

So, I just got this call, caller id said 4420741443 70 - about need to call urgently to reduce my interest rate on my charge card - but they didn't say which card.  Press 1 to get details, press 2 to be removed from list.  Before I thought I pressed 2.

So now what kind of bad things are going to happen?  What possible scam are they pulling?

It is my business phone, what a mess.

I just got a call from this # about an hour and didn't answer... no vmail. Such a long # seemed fishy to me...

We got the same call today. I've found that the only satisfaction I can take from this is touching 1, saying I'm interested, and then pressing HARD for company information from the I-have-no-job-and-bad-credit-and-this-is-the-only-job-I-can-get "representative" that picks up. Because I'm still a live prospect, their greed keeps them on the phone 10 to 20 minutes before they finally hang up on me - and I see that as 10 to 20 minutes that they can't scam someone else. They don't care about the DNC list because the agents usually aren't aware of what number is being called. Whether it's "Debt Relief" in whatever city or "Financial Services" in Atlanta or the car warranty thieves in St. Louis, the fact is that each one is a criminal enterprise. I don't feel guilty about exasperating them, costing them time or long distance (actually most of them skip on their phonebills before setting up elsewhere), or making one of them cry. They and each member of their staffs KNOW what they're doing is illegal.

yep i got this call a few minutes ago too.
i pressed one and tried to get some info on what the company was or where it was located, but i got hung up on.

I got a call like 25 minutes ago from this number but I didn't answer (I was on other line) Weird is the format of the number ! Look at this : +44-207-414-4370

Got a call from the same number about 10 minutes ago... what in the world? Are they picking on us today? So strange. I hate that they called on my cell phone! What can we do about this???

Got this call on my cell.  I didn't answer.  It's probably just spam. It's surprising to see so many people posting here.

My cell phone was called from 442-074-1443 70 at 2PM MST 2/21/2008.
A pre-recorded Heather from accounts services etc credit card phishing scam. I pressed 1 to be connected to a live rep but the call did not complete and I just got dial tone.

This is my 2nd call from "Heather" this month.

I just got a call from 442-074-144370 at 2/21/08 3:47pm. I pushed 1 and some guy picked up. He said what they were offering lower interest rates on my credit card. I asked which one and he said any one I want. He hung up after I kept asking where he got my info and what company he's from. Seems like a scam trying to get SSN's

This is the second time in a month that I have received a call from this number. Haven't answered either time.

These guys told me they were United Debt Aid, but they are scammers, so who knows if that's a real company name.
