This is a recorded call from "Heather" at Card Services.  She tells me that this is my "last chance" to respond to this offer to lower my credit card debt.  This has been going on for months.  Early on I pressed 3 to remove my name.  This obviously doesn't work!  The last three times I pressed 1 to speak to a live operator.  First time - disconnected when I asked for a supervisor.  Second time - disconnected after I asked for both a supervisor and a callback number (not provided).  Third time - I was hung up on when I requested that my name be removed.
The only name for this company that I can get out of the operators is "Card Services".

I have been called by "Heather" from account services probably 20 to 30 times. Over the last 2 years. I have also recieved the same call from a "Michele". I am on the national do not call list, and have pressed the "2" option which is supposed to remove me from their list. Yet they continue to call, and call and call. I have spoke to an attendant several times. I ask why they keep calling. I always get hung up on.  Today I asked to speak to Heather. I was told that Heather is the name of their calling machine! I asked to speak to a supervisor. They asked why, then hung up. This is not a legitimate business, because if they were they would cooperate by giving me the name of their company and their phone number, but they don't. All they ever do is hang up on me! I am sick and tired of this unethical and illegal behavior. I have called the Att. General, the phone co., and the local police. They couldn't seem to care less, even though literally hundreds of thousands  of people are called the same way every day. Why wont the Att. General investigate this? The government seems to be worthless! Please respond with advise or similar experiences

I've called the Federal Trade Commission's Fight Back Against ID Theft Program (1-877-438-4338) twice to report the "Credit Card Services" phone-phishing scam seeking identity theft of credit information.  They're unable to locate the 442-074-8724 and 442-074-0632 numbers that dialed my Do Not Call home phone. I've reported it to my County Sheriff's office, as I have a neighbor getting the same call.  Let's try flooding the FTC with daily reports.  A google search of 442 area code showed that 442 is a proposed new overlay area code for California far north suburbs of San Diego, going live year-end 2007.  Another submission here says it's a UK country code 01-442.  My "live assistant" was a Latino male that hung up when I asked for the mailing address of his company.

This number came up too with me. Its a scam I got the same number with about 30 others from that fake area code and number.ITS NSC PROGRAM CREDIT 1 866 324 2723 ext 216 they run a scam with several deals from lowwer credit rates to vacations and car warranties. They been calling my cell for months.They hang up if you ask questions .I turned  them  in to the do not call site. Don't gave them any info or pick up the phone they find a working number and will call you everyday.Turn them in. They use 442 area and its always the same people. Like to see them get a fine for scamming!I must of got a new employee who by mistake gave me their real number by acting interested and gave them fake name and the lady stated the company and number...
