just got a call from "442-074-287043". didn't answer.  anyone know any details?

Hello I just got the same number that came up and we answered and they said our warranty was running out even though it was not.

I just got the same call.  I asked an agent why I received the call and he replied "I want to know why you're calling me and disturbing me!"  Weird...

I've had this same call on my home phone and my cell phone. I've also been at my parents and they got the call. Tonight I talked to someone and they hung up on me. We don't have a warrenty on our vehicle, it's some scam.

I got the same phone call about 20 minutes ago.  I got the feeling they were fishing for credit card numbers.  I told the guy I spoke to, "Bill", that I had no warranty on my car and he immediately hung up on me.

I just got the same call, too. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

i just got a call from this number about 15mins ago on my cell phone. it was an automated recorded thats stated my auto warranty was going to expire. it told me to press 1 to speak to an agent or 2 to hang up...wanting to give this "company" a piece of my mind i pressed 1. when the "agent" picked up he asked me what vehicle i was calling about. i said i dont know u tell me.  he replied " why do all you [***] idiots from idaho always press 1 and dont know why?".........well mr..i guess thats a good question...

I gotten that call too. they kept missing me, it was recorded and saying that my warranty on my car was going to run out even though i dnt have a car. A couple of minutes ago they calledme again and i answered and they hung up. huh. oh well.

I just got a call from the number 442-074-287043, which is unlike any number I've seen. I typed it intil my web search and your website came up. I didn't answer it so I don't know what it was about, but I find I most peculiar.

Update: I just tried calling the number back and Verizon said that the number has changed, been disconnected or is no longer in use.

i just got a call from that number, did not answer, but [***] like that is kind of annoying, especially when your number is on the do not call list. i wish i could get ahold of them and chew their ass's out for it, any  one know a call back number or how to get ahold of them

Did not recognize the number on my cell so i didn't answer. i googled it and wahlah here we are. wasn't going to waste my minutes on what appeared to be an out of country call.

Got the call tonight.  Didn't answer but called it back and got a British sounding recorded message saying that the T-Mobile mailbox for that number is full. I suspect it's a US scam calling from a UK number to avoid having to abide by US "no call" lists.

I got the call a couple hours ago...didn't answer it because I recognized the calling code (44) which is coming from England.  Why would anyone from England be calling my cell phone!  I'm sure it's all a scam.  Tough part is, overseas is not part of the "do not call" list.  Legally, they can get away with the calls.  Damn english [***]!

This # showed up on my cell phone caller ID on 1/31/08 7:11 pm.  I did not answer.  Received a call just a few minutes ago from #442-074-080556. Still did not answer. Same scam...new #.

the just called me too! i called them back but got the verizon message. sucks because i got all excited thinking i was gonna hear from my grandad!

i just got a call from this number except this time instead of the car warranty it was that they had important information about my credit card, that there was no problem, but that i "might be eligible for an interest rate reduction" and i should speak with them immediately.  best part, i don't even have a credit card!  annoying scam.
