phone call from 442-074-575027 at 12:03PM. never heard of a phone number with this many numbers at the back. any ideas?

Just got a call from this number on a Sprint cell phone. It was automated, and was talking about a car warranty about to expire. I have no car warranties, so this call was not for me.

Just got the same call. I didn't answer. I'm on Sprint. I believe it is the betginning of telemarketing on cell phones. Time to put myself on the Cell-Do Not Call list.

the only thing i can think of is that i started using a "free ringtones" site (myxer tones) and they are calling. Anyone else use this? maybe find a correlation...

I got a phone call from 442-074-575027 also at 12:17 pm est today. I didnt answer because I was at work, but no message was left.  I am a Virgin Mobile pre-paid user.  ??? who knows

i use myxertones too but i never got a phone call like this before and i've used it a long time ago

im the one that started this thread an im on alltel. i did a search of the area code and it said around San Diego but my boss at work said the 047 was a foreign number so who knows. a guy i work with said his brother got a weird call a couple days ago that charged him 23 dollars as soon as he answered the phone. so be careful.

How do we get to the bottom of this?

I got the same call.  They asked for the make and model of my car.  I asked what company they work for and they hung up.  They called my cell (Verizon).  Verizon was not helpful but I will try again, as I see many people are having an issue.

I think it may be a RX scamming company as I have been getting calls from them as well. the rx scamming number is 800-945-1733 and the number that just called is 442074575027
