Rec'd call today(02-05-08)from adult male w/ Indian accent.Other obvious Indian voices/chatter in backround. Caller ID Info:442-074-6259.MY PC Indicated NO SUCH NUMER EXISTS.I needed a short break, AND the Caller stated he could SUBSTANTIALLY lower my credit card(s)interest rate(s),so what the heck!This would be FUN!! First he requested I CONFIRM my Credit card no(s).(lol!!!) THEN inquired callers Corp. affiliation, name,employee ID# location, etc.. Caller REFUSED disclosure,stating "privacy laws prohibited it"(lol!!!). When I then informed caller that call would be recorded, caller stated "you can't do that!". I said "Really?- just watch me." Caller then called me "stupid [***]",
(I am male),and hung up.FOILED ANOTHER TELE-CRIMINAL!!
OBVIOUSLY AnOTHER INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARD SCAM.
PLEASE-IF you DO NOT HAVE CALLER ID-GET IT ASAP.
DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE UNLESS YOU POSITIVELY CAN IDENTIFY
THE CALLER.DO NOT REVEAL ANY PERSONAL FINANCIAL OR PERSONAL DATA TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE.IF STILL INTERESTED, GET THE OFFER IN WRITING-THRU THE MAIL-LET THEM DETERMINE YOUR ADRRESS.
NOBODY IS WORTH LOSING YOUR IDENTITY/FINANCES
to, NO MATTER HOW "FRIENDLY" or "HONEST" THEY MAY SEEM.

I received a call on my Verizon mobile phone on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 8:15a.  I missed the call and there was no voicemail.  This is a UK number, however just about anyone could be calling via routing number.  I will be checking a number (if I still have it) from an individual from the UK that I met on a dating site.  He ended up being a stalker and subsequently reported this to the dating site and changed my phone #.  If I find the number and I find out it is him, I will let all of you know, as I was told that this individual moved to Spartenburg North Carolina.  Let's hope it's not him, because he is dangerous!
