What is "TM"? Time Management? Training and Marketing? Tim Matheson (the actor)? Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, after doing some searching online about this number. It came up that these guys are going by other names. One is Optum. The first call was a different number and a guy with an Indian accent hung up and a few hours later a different number shows up and it was UHG XLHEALTH. They both ask for my mother's first and last name. Which, to me was odd. Instead of confirming with them that she lives here with me. I told them they had the wrong number. Even after I said that they went as far as to ask if they were one of my long-distance relatives.  I'm thinking to myself. Like WTF? I said it slower. You..Have..The..Wrong..Number.. If it was an important matter from her healthcare provider. They would usually send a letter in the mail like they usually do. Hearing and knowing all types of scammers out there calling people and trying to collect personal imformations. I never give out any personal information over the phone. Regardless what their CID says or what company they say they're from. With all the spoofing of CID and phone numbers. You can never tell if they are the real thing or not.

What I do now when answering numbers I don't recognize (especially numbers with an area code I don't even remotely recognize) is instead of saying Hello I answer with something like "If you start talking with an Indian accent then I will automatically conclude you are just another scammer." Then I wait to see what happens next. If they start talking and they do have an Indian accent I will reply with one word: "Scammer" and hang up. Then I block the number.  :)

So why are you here?  You clearly did not get a call from this number or else you would have posted details about it.  You just wanted some attention maybe?  You wanted everyone to be able to read that stupid story you seem to be spamming on this site?

This number has been calling several times a day for 5 days. My phone says "Scam Likely". Yesterday I answered. There was a brief funny sound then nothing. I was hoping for a secret admirer ;). But then today I answered again. After a few "hellos" a woman started talking. It sounded like something "vehicle" and "payments". When there was a pause I said "you will need to talk slower because I cannot understand you." She had an accent and the pace of her speech was super fast.

After I said that, the call was disconnected.
