Identity issues.

they called me several times per my caller id.  I called the # to see what it was and a recording comes on saying direct energy please press 1 to be put on our do not call list, which I did.

Criminal money scammers and stalkers who managed to still get my number, even though I changed and put a restricted block on it. When picked up the phone, they never answered, but you know there was someone on the other line. I wish authorities to get more advanced systems to track them and arrest these criminal networks that get away with this years on end.... This must be put to an end....

New Number
All phone numbers are recycled.  No one gets rid of a number without a good reason since it a pain in the butt to notify everyone.  So now you know why the former owners got rid of that number.

called me left a one word message...
if it was a reputable business, then the person could say possible a complete sentence, since the caller is most likely a scammer , then they are not very bright thus are resigned to speaker in a quite abbreviated manner

Calls several times a day, no speaking, no message, etc. I just called the number back and some foreign accented woman picked up, spoke so fast that I couldnt even understand what she said other than, "Who am I speaking to?"  Jeez you called me I'd think you'd know who I am!!

Number keeps calling my phone and when I pick up nobody speaks.
