Spark Home Service, a window cleaner. Left voice mail. I'm on the DNC list so they are just robo calling any number in the DFW area. Call is now blocked.BBB gives them an F rating. Don't deal with them!

Call came in at 3:02P CDT, Caller ID showed "Unassigned" and they left no voicemail. Are now blocked since we never answer suspicious callers.

The address shown on their website for the Dallas Headquarters is a vacant space, available immediately for lease.  Who ARE these people- they do not appear to be legit, won't even respond to BBB complaints & BBB has given them an "F" rating!

The BBB is not a government agency and has no government enforcement powers.
A lot of legit businesses do not belong to the BBB. There is no law mandating membership.
There is no law requiring any business to respond to BBB letters.

I find some of these entries about these ‘faux telemarketer calls’ amusing.  Those of you that let the calls roll to your answering machine, voicemail or worse yet answered the call you have just ensured you will receive more of these calls.  Maybe not from the same number, but they’ve just identified your number as valid which assures more calls of these 'faux telemarketer calls'.  (I call them faux telemarketer calls as they are generally not legitimate telemarketers, but simply scams!)  Most of the initial calls originate from software (aka; ‘robocalls’) – once your number is identified as active, then a real person may be there on the follow up calls.  The majority of the calls are from a 'spoofed' number therefore the area code, exchange or even the entire number displayed on your caller ID probably does not accurately reflect the origin of a call.
If you have the capability to ‘BLOCK’ the number that called – that is the best action.  Since 2010 I have logged and currently block nearly 600 of these nuisance calls.
(NOTE: I have recently purchased equipment that can block by area codes.  I am in the process of blocking any area code where I do have any contacts.)
If you don’t have a blocking option, keep a phone with caller ID close by and simply hit ‘talk’ and ‘off’ simultaneously.  This will reduce the number of nuisance calls, but not stop them.
If you really want to block them – in addition to a number of cordless phones available there is software that a layman can install.  Of the over 500 calls I’ve blocked, I've only added 16 over the last 3 months.  (Most of those are from a new series of numbers that were not previously blocked)
So the message is simple – blocking works….  Using the aforementioned processes I seldom have a second call from a given number.  But, when I do - I love it when "Number Blocked" shows on my 'Caller ID!!!  (When they call repeatedly it causes me to wonder about how stupid some of these dummies really are!)
PS:  I think Call Notes should add a 'Call Type' for 'Spoof' or 'Scammer Calls'!

Got one of these, too.  They actually go by an alternate name: Singh Home Services, located at 2608 Gull Lake Dr, Plano, TX 75025, 972-984-8539.  It's registered with the State of Texas since 2012. Registered Agent is SHASHANK CHAUHAN at the same address, owner appears to be Braham Pal.

As noted, they have an F with the BBB. As easy as it is for a company to get an A, it's a pretty sad state of affairs when one is sporting that big "F" on their profile.  Also, there are two bad Google Reviews, both telemarketing related.

Started calling me back in July. This time CID: Unassigned! Previously CID: Spark Home Services, window washing service.

The call I received had caller ID   "Dallas  469-283-0395".  It rang 3 times and they hung up before I could answer.  Now that you kind folks have enlightened me on who they are, I have blocked them.  Thanks to all.
