I answered the call and the female caller stated that she wanted to discuss the changes with my Marriot Timeshare over a dinner for 2 at, of all places, Red Lobster. I informed her that I do not and have never had a timeshare. I said who are you, where did you get my info. She stated that the Marriot Horizons Orlando had me listed as a property owner. I asked for the number for this establishment to verify that they have me listed as a property owner. The female caller said that she is just a reservationist and do not have their number. I said cool, I can Google it. I called the Marriot Horizons Orlando/Marriot Vacation Club and they stated that this must be some third party rep trying to sell timeshares and that they have no record of my information and that I should call the police. They also gave me the number to their Property Division to further verify that I am not listed as a property owner. My name is slightly common, so there were FORMER property owners in two different states with the same name as mine, but nothing else matches. They said that this is not how they advertise, nor sell their property. It is a scam. I have blocked them and am insulted that they think that I would agree to have dinner with strangers and at Red Lobster of all places. Do better! LOL!!!!!
