Had a message on my phone today at 7:00 pm saying they were from Microsoft and that suspicious activity was found and that someone was trying to steel my financial activity on my computer .Told Me I needed to call them back as soon as possible or they would have to lock my computer .I never called them back is was a robocall,I looked up the number and found out it was a scam.The voice on the call was a female voice.

Scam caller. Gave no name only the number. A recording telling tell me my computer had a virus and I needed to call their number to have it cleaned of all viruses. I don't have a PC, I use an Apple. Be careful!

Left same message described previously saying they observed suspicious activity on my computer and they're going to lock my computer unless I call 844-879-3977. Obvious scam!

Said the same as other complaints. That they need to lock my computer because my info was stolen. Moron's.

Robo woman's voice saying they're from Microsoft.they're going to shut down my computer because people are trying to steal my information.said to call 844-879-3977 to give them my info.They called twice within a half hour! I didn't answer either.i let the machine get message.

Robocall stating there is suspicion activity.  Some one is trying to steal my identity.  I need to call this number,844-879-3977, or they would be forced to "lock my computer".

DO NOT ANSWER ANY AREA CODE 844 CALLS, THEY ARE NOT TOLL FREE FOR YOU.
Area code 844 is toll free for the caller, but YOU are charged as soon as you answer the phone for the call.

Scam threatening to lock my computer up if I don't let them have access.  It was a computerized recording.
No company will call you up telling you that you have a computer issue.

Robo-call along the same lines as the previous commenters.Obvious scam.

Same message about shutting down my computer. They think we are idiots. We're not!

Received automated call saying suspicious activity on my email and that they were shutting down my email if I did not respond. Call came from 470-333-0096 and said to call 866-925 ( I didn't get the rest) When I called back the 470 number it is not set up to receive calls.

Same as above notes. The caller said my identity was in danger of being stolen. And my email would be shut off in order to protect others, if I did not call the number. Robo-call and obvious SCAM.

Caller ID unknown... Said I was in danger of having passwords, bank info stolen.. To call an 866 number (I Didn't write it down) to have them changed.

Got the call, they left message that I needed to call back a 866 number or my computer will be locked. Blocked number

Call and left message threatening to cut off my email account? Must be a bad scam because I don't use email lately!!!

Phone phishing scam call. Received a voicemail from 470-333-0096 on my cell at 1:30 pm PST today. I didn't answer the unfamiliar phone number.

The robot female voice said that I need to call 1-866-925-9112 to stop my sensitive information from being stolen like banking information, credit card, and passwords. The voice said that if I don't call, my account will be suspended and my email locked to prevent further damage to others.

Instead, I will report both numbers to the FTC.

I just received a robo call from 470-333-0096 saying it was from microsoft and I had to call a number because there was suspicious activity....blah, blah, blah.
