Got a text message with a link to pay for a bill I should not have. The first text said  VA- Privia Health and I  know I'm not a Veteran. Scammers at best.

Received a text advertising a local clinic.

Called and texted on my data. It was about a Financial Service in CA. But the calls came from Concord, GA. Blocked every time. Someone needs to stop this company. They're using phone data. They call and text every day using different phone #'s !!!

rec'd a text message from this # stating "The balance for your recent appt with The Hughston Clinic is ready to view and pay; https://ahmsg.us/4brzrvK. Reply STOP to opt out.

Athena Health Billing Dept.  The send out bills for medical providers.  This is what the page says when you go to it

It then asks for your last name and DOB and then says that you can also go to your patient portal.

Rec'd random text out of the blue...thanking me and saying I  will now receive PMG patient text alerts.

Blocked the caller and didn't reply to stop because I don't want to validate my number or let them think I will respond to their messages.

I never signed up for anything so it seems like bogus phishing.

Well, considering that it was already "validated" when the text went through that shouldn't be a problem.  Of course there is no reason to validate numbers in any case.
