This is a telemarketer calling themselves "GoDaddy Business Advisor", not affiliated with Godaddy at all.  They get all your domain registration information from the WHOIS database, unless you've paid your domain hose extra to add "Privacy" to your domain.

Otherwise,anyone can visit https://whois.icann.org/en and find out all your registration information.

Sorry to say it IS some kind of telemarketer and not GoDaddy.

They call themselves "Godaddy Business Advisor" and are not affiliated with the real GoDaddy at all.  If you don't have privacy added to your domain (at GoDaddy or any other domain host), then anyone who wants to can get all your registration information from the WHOIS database, at https://whois.icann.org/en

They don't troll THESE sites for information, but I wouldn't doubt that they have some staff assigned to going through sites like this and arguing that the number really does belong to GoDaddy.

Finding out that you have a GoDaddy domain, they call themselves "GoDaddy Business Advisor" and hope that will hook you into believing that you are calling the real GoDaddy when you call back.

They can also go through with a robot and extract all Godaddy, Bluehost, (or whomever) domains.

Said he's from GoDaddy.....but you can reach them directly.  I have been with them for years and they have never called me.  I did forget to put PRIVACY registration on one of my domains.

Missed a call from this number.

Called me back so I answered.  Said he was Jeremy with GoDaddy and asked for the domain owner by name, who was unavailable to take the call.  I checked and he has his domain info set to private, but it's a business website that uses his name in the web address so if these guys are scammers, they don't even have to dig around to find his name.  I don't know what they want.  The account is paid in full and the registry doesn't expire until next summer so I don't know why GoDaddy would be contacting us, if this is actually them.

I do not care who it is or who they say they are. Anyone that calls and does not leave a message is blocked.

It is NOT GoDaddy. It's an entirely different company calling themselves "Godaddy Business Advisor", playing on the Godaddy name.

They called my cell phone this morning.  Problem is I use my landline number for all me dealings and never give out the cell phone number to anyone.  In fact I do not know my own cell phone number.  My cell is used for emergencies only and to contact the wife.  So anyone calling it for any reason is just fishing.

Called me again today but I was busy and didn't answer.

CID "Go DaddY",  When answered, all we heard is just background noise, and no person speaking. Must be Fake like the Fake Gooooglers are.

Caller ID shows GO DADDY. I'm not so sure this is a legit call because my call blocker automatically blocked this number twice today after one ring. The contact phone number on the GODADDY.COM website is (480) 505-8877 for US Support.

Voicemail:  "Hello, this is GoDaddy calling to say thank and to do a quick review of your account to ensure everything is going a smoothly as possible. If you have any questions please contact our customer development team at 480-463-8826 thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.  If you would like to opt out receiving future calls please call us toll-free at 866-532-8530 and enter the number that you want to have removed from our calling list."

The phone number 480-463-8350 is a scam CLAIMING to be Go Daddy. BEWARE! Whoever says in posings/replies that its verified as GoDaddy, they are working for the scammers. Go daddy never calls and asks you to verify your credit card on file to confirm you identity.  Do not fall for their scam!!  The callers claim to be Go-Daddy Business Services. I would ask to call them back & call Go Daddy yourself if you have any doubts; they are always glad to help.

4804638350  is absolutely scammers!  They even have the number listed as GoDaddy Business but they are not affiliated in any way. If you call Go Daddy yourself they will verify it isn't one of their numbers. Everyone needs to block that number....A******* scammer are getting trickier by the day it seems.

They just called here, I didn't answer. I do have a GoDaddy account but I have privacy on mine... But since they are not really affiliated with the company, I won't be answering. Thank you for the information.

they dont call for months and then over the course of a week they'll call 10 times.  NEVER leave a message. AND we do have a go daddy page.  A$$holes!

Caller ID shows "GO DADDY" but I have privacy on both my domains. They don't leave a message so I suspect people above are right who say it is not really Go Daddy and a SCAM instead.
