Caller ID says "unknown name".  Left no message.

Don't answer unrecognized #'s.  No message left.  Don't know anyone in that area.  # now blocked.  Thanks to all who post here!  Saves me a lot of grief.

Must be robo caller. Showed Phoenix and I’m 2000 miles away and I don’t give my cell phone number out. Tries every day

Displays as Phoenix AZ, doesn't leave message, added to block list

If all your Caller ID says is "unknown name" along with the phone number (like this one does), you DO NOT want to answer it live.  Let it roll to voice mail.  It's likely they won't even leave a voice mail (they didn't), as they're just looking for a live pigeon to harass.

Hello, my name is Debra Taylor, I would like to talk to you about your federal student loans.

Must be a telemarketer.  My outgoing phone message states:  "I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  If you have a VALID reason for calling, leave a voicemail and I will return your call ASAP."   This number left no message, therefore it's SPAM and gets blocked.
