I just had it out with a Steve from Letgo. I gave my info for pick up and he proceeded with this certified check [***]. I let it go for a few days and he contacted me again. Well, just say he kind threatened me said I was [***]. When I proceeded to inform him that I have law enforcement in my back pocket just in case he wanted to play that game. I'm also licensed to carry. He sent me a picture of a black guys thumb covering a white cop from Prince William county police department. I said bro to me like I was from the hood

Called to purchase an suv by certified check. and ship it out asap......Yeah OK...

I was selling my massage table on letgo.. Got a message from this guy. He sent out a "certified check" And I don't know what to do. I know he lives in AZ and was supposed to send out movers to get the table. And they are supposed to get part of the check. I don't know what to do or how to report this guy.

Check will bounce higher than the moon. Take check and envelope to the postal  inspectors

i dont even know you. Then he gave me the silent treatment lol

I was letting him know I can accept payment thru WALMART and he said NOPE

Message me thru let go app. Asking me to cash the cashiers check and add extra $50

I just had a person from Let go named “smith” but with this same number tell me to text him. I never did cause I got a weird feeling about it and decided to google the number.

I received the same as everyone, the envelope / check is on the way, what do I do?

If the check is MAILED - take it and the envelope to the post office & forward it to the inspectors for mail fraud.

Don’t send out your name and address. And tell him that you only accept cash or Venmo. His reply will be he doesn’t have Venmo and that due to his world schedule he cannot pick up the item and will send a friend to pick it up. Also change your screen name on Letgo for privacy and security. People like him can easily look up your name and do a google search to find out your info.

This guy messaged me as Smith from letgo today when I first downloaded the app. Asked me to send my name and address and will send certified check. I replied that I only accept cash or Venmo payments. He gave me some made up story which verifies that he was out to scam me. Once I told him I don’t accept check payments the messages stopped.

He thought he could catch me on letgo but he's been reported
