telemarketers calling my Cel phone, numersuos times.

Called but no msg - this only started today, and 2nd one - suspect GE Appliance Repair giving out number?

this is a factory warranty call - I seem to get them about every 2-3 days. We have a car that is about to be paid off...so I am guessing that is where it comes from. Very annoying! Not able to reach anyone at that number if I call it back.  we are in TX

I reported this # to the FCC.  i think everyone should.  once they get tired of receiving all our complaints maybe they will do something about it.

They called me today on my cell at 2:19PM, number is based in Reading,PA but did not leave a message.

This call came on my Cell Phone...Does anyone know how to BLOCK and REPORT the Number?!

I thought I got these people to stop calling me but I got another one today.  Make a complaint with the FCC here: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act, section (b)(1)(B), states:

  "It shall be unlawful for any person within the United States, or any person outside the United States if the recipient is within the United States... to initiate any telephone call to any residential telephone line using an artificial or prerecorded voice to deliver a message without the prior express consent of the called party, unless the call is initiated for emergency purposes or is exempted by rule or order by the Commission under paragraph (2)(B)".

and part (b)(3)(A) states:

  A person or entity may, if otherwise permitted by the laws or rules of court of a State, bring in an appropriate court of that State... an action to recover for actual monetary loss from such a violation, or to receive $500 in damages for each such violation, whichever is greater.

-You can sue for EACH call $500.

I was out of town in the Pacific NW from So Cal.  Got the missed call info for this number.  Ck'd this site and found its a marketing call.  Glad I did not answer or call back.  Thanks for the info everyone.

I received a call at my work telephone number today at 11-something a.m.  It was an automated female voice about my car warranty about to expire and this being the last time they would contact me about it.  My car is already 11 years old with more than 330,000 miles; so, my warranty is long over. Not sure how they got my work number because my warranty was expired before I even started this job several years ago.  Perhaps they get telephone/cell phone numbers from automobile repair shops.  (Not sure.)

I got a call today that I didnt answer but the number was 1-484-220-1176. I'm not sure if it was the same but they didnt leave a voicemail. I live in NY.

Rang twice. No voicemail

I started getting phone calls about this warranty service on my home phone a few weeks ago and then all of a sudden now on my cell phone.  I do not give out my cell phone number to anyone, so I find this odd that all of a sudden the calls have started around the same time on both phone numbers.  I called the number back and they said that by calling number I have been put on their "do not call" list (did not even have to enter phone number).  We'll see if the calls continue.....

Same here, 3 calls so far on my cell phone, once left prerecorded voice mail about car warranty about to expire.  My car is a 1999.  This must be illegal. I live in florida, so these are random calls and should be stopped.

I ride a bicycle. It is my vehicle. These guys wanted to sell me an extended warranty. They were very confused. For some reason, a Trek 7300 doesn't show up in their list of vehicles. You can read more on my web site and get a recorded copy of the call...
