Today I received two calls from this number.  Every time I answer they hang up.  This is a form of harrassment.

I have the same problem.I call 888-382-1222 this number is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five(5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

Help other by passign this on.

I have received numerous calls on my home phone from 484-584-6400 with no message left and when I answer "they" hung up.  I do beleieve it is the company in Easton by the name of Precision Marketing Inc. (http://pmipolitics.com).  I called them at 610-252-0314 and the woman who answered the phone informed me they did make political calls and she would see that they removed from the list.  She was very nice and did confirm that PMI makes political calls on behalf of candidates.  I believe for myself it was on behalf of State Senator Andy Dinniman.

I got a phonecall from this number .No message left .I called it back when I found  out it was from PA and it gave me the message the number has been disconnected and or is no longer in service  .I spoke to an  embarq representetive and was told the phone can be set up that way to give the message that is is no longer in service or diconnected even though its still in service .

He said it could be Telemarketing Firma  .Then why the DO NOT CALL list ?

I live in Franklin County, PA. I got two calls from this number yesterday and two again today. I leave it go to my answering machine when I don't recognize the number and there is no specific caller identification. As soon as the answering machine kicks on the call is disconnected. Like all the other comments I have read on this site, this is getting VERY irritating. I consider it harassment by phone...

I have recieved two call today and left ift go to voicemail,it leaves no message.

We got two calls from this number today.  When answered there is no one on the other end of the phone.  I have also had a few employees who have had this number on their cell phones.

They just called here did not leave a message on the machine--I tried to call back and the number is no longer in service--call came from Easton Pa

Calls at least once a day about the same time. If it is a political call, I live in the Pittsburgh area

I keep getting calls from this number.  Last night one came at 8:30 pm and as always, no one is on the other end.  What a pain.  I have small children and 8:30 is too late to call.  What about the DO NOT CALL LIST???

They've called 3 times now, afternoon, morning and evening over the past 4-5 days (end of March - beginning of April 2008) --  getting sick of it.  Don't have caller ID - so I have to waist 75c for a *69 each.  When I call that number, I get ... AT 501 ... does anyone know what that means ?

Told her this is a "do not solocite number" -- take this number off their list.

I called the ATX communications Customer Support 1-800 number and when I chose to speak with a representative the sound got all muffeled and someone in the background laughed a creepy laugh.

We have been getting calls ferom this number every day it seems they don't say anything when we pick up and like everyone else here has said when you call it back it's unlisted or disconnected! very annoying! This needs to be stopped.

Phone rings, pick it and no one answers, finally "they"/"it" hangs up.

7 calls from this number today between 11:30am and 3pm--so far!  This is sickening.  I guess I'll try to answer the next one and see if I can get info.  Same as everyone else--I call it back and get a "disconnected" message.  Looked over Verizon's website and lots of hang-up calls are not illegal.  They should be.  I could pay $5 a month to block the number, but that's not right either.

Got my 8th call and it was for candidate Jennifer Mann.  Called her office and the person who answered said it was indeed Precision Marketing in Easton that does the auto-call.  http://pmipolitics.com/  He also said lots of candidates use this group, so my 8 calls may have been from other candidates, not just Mann.

This isn't illegal, but boy it should be.
