I can't get these people to stop calling either but I did download a free app called Blocker.  Now whenever they call I add them to my "blacklist" so that when that number calls again it's immediately ignored.  The number of calls I've received has greatly decreased.

This is just so crazy.  I want these calls to stop!!!!!!     How do we get them to stop!?      I get a call from "Ann at Account Services" every single day - always from different #s.  This is one of them.  FOr the curious mind, I have chatted with them long enough to find out their "deal" - for a one-time fee of $700, they will supposedly lower your interest rates.  I keep trying to get their website URL, saying I won't give any info until I can research them (hoping to report to Better Business Bureau), but they won't give real company name or website.

If you return the call and listen to the automated message, there is an option to stop recieving the calls by pressing "1".  They ask that you allow 24 hours for the calls to stop.

GOOD NEWS ALL- SOMEONE PLAYED DETECTIVE AND GOT THE INFO WHERE ALL THESE NUMBERS are generated from!!! Next course of ACTION call them as much as they call you- several times a day- say silly things like "this is bozo the clown I need to lower my rates"   Blow a whistle in their ear- but be relentless, keep calling them- be sure to do a *67 to make your phone number restricted OR call your phone company and ask what is the 2 digits that will make it restricted- GOOD LUCK!!  Payback is a [***]!!

Call the number back and an automated person says "thanks for calling back" they then tell you to press "1" if you want to be removed from the list. Then to allow 24 hours to be removed.
    Hope it works!

Check with your phone company, either land or cell. I can go in and block numbers on both.

I tried to answer to tell them to quit, was put on hold for five minutes with music blaring, so I gave up.  Is there any way to get them to stop?

This number has called me several times over the last week to 10 days. Two of the calls (that I did not answer) had some breathing and short vocal sounds of annoyance before hanging up. I don't take calls from unknow numbers and this one had no ID caller info on my phone either.

Oh Oh!  It's not longer Jennifer, now it's "Rachel" calling from this number.  Best thing to do it remember the area code and/or last four digits of the number and do not answer it.  Even though a recording, when answering it will "tag" your number and continue to call (automated).  Just ignore it; they don't care about the "no call list" and it seems like the law doesn't care either.

I have tried to designate call ring tones from all the people I want calls from.  That way I'm not running around trying to answer the phone when these companies call because it is worthless to try telling them to remove my number.  Whatever happened to the "do not call" list.  It is getting easier and easier for telemarketers to get around it.

These are criminals and cowards....they hide their identity and break the law because they know the government can't touch them......because they can't find them.

I am going to just cancel my phone service since now I get more of these calls than real calls.  not to mention, it is about time for the "political" surveys, voting reminders, etc. to start.  They are not prohibited by the Do Not Call rules anyway.  Why am I paying to be harassed?!?!??!?!?!
