Called my work phone (which is a government number!) with the same claim of no response in 6 months so filing a lawsuit against me under the US Government.

I literally just got this same voicemail. I’m going to take it as a scam.

Received a voicemail from ‭(502) 373-7028‬ and ‭(512) 565-9230‬ stating my family and I are being investigated for tax fraud. I called back and an Indian woman said it was the IRS. I called BS and she said you can hang up the line.

I rec'd this call the same as all the others, I just wish it was possible to learn where they get our cell numbers, mine is not posted anywhere, so they must be looking at some type of records. I also got the exact same message from a CA (510) number a minute later. I have lived in both states in the past 4 years.

I got the same call as the rest of you:  badly recorded msg. telling me I was 6 months late on IRS fees, and that it was now a criminal issue.

I called them back, got a guy with a heavy Indian/pakistani accent.  I invited him to consider screwing a cow in the butt while I did the same to his mother.

I just got the call as well. I'm a disabled combat veteran and don't file taxes. Pretty bad when I get a call like that. Pathetic !!!

Definitely a scam. Pretends to be the IRS.

Same deal here.  Had a call several months ago and was almost fooled.
IRS should crack down harder on these scammers though.

Same number called me today, says the exact same thing that i am being turned in for fraud and they are opening a case against me for not contacting them in the 6 months. deff scam i asked potal service here and they agreed the irs would never leave a message like that

Scam scam scam. Claims to be IRS and that my family is being investigated for fraud. First of all, the IRS does NOT contact by phone..they contact by mail. Funny how all the comments here are pretty much identical. I hope these low life scum bags are caught. Get a real job you thieving loser's!

Robot call with voice of a woman asking to call back due to a lawsuit filled against you. US IRS do not operate that way. It is a scam, beware.

Got the same call. I suspected it was a scam even before taking the call because it said it was from Guatemala. Then when the computer voice said it was IRS and US Government I knew it was a scam.
Last week before I ever even got this call I had talked to the IRS about our taxes, I know what is going on with them and this call was a clear scam. I never called the number, was afraid I would get charged $3000 a minute to listen to another computer message.
Just block or ignore this number

I just got the same call saying me and my family was being sued by irs. I knew from voicemail it was a scam.

I filed a complaint with the don't not call .gov Hopefully this is looked into.

A computer called out of the blue with its 1980's computer voice saying the IRS and United States Government have filed a lawsuit for tax fraud because I haven't responded to their calls for last 6 months. Total BS, I have lived in same spot for a very long time and haven't committed any tax fraud. The IRS would never call you like this and let alone if they did why would they file the lawsuit when they had your number to call you the whole time. Such a scam and sorry to see they probably get a lot of people who don't have the common sense to google a number for a call like this and see what it comes back as.
