got a call from this number an hour ago, I was at work and rejected the call,no voicemail left and no call back

Just got a call with no message left.  I was amazed this was my first Google hit when I looked for it.

Just got call from 503-201-7030. Said it was Ed McMahon! I've won seven hundred million dollars but I have to send a cashiers check as a deposit for the taxes in good faith. I'm on my way to the bank now! This is the best ever!

What the heck!? I just got a call from that number also....these calls all seem to be happening withing minutes of these posts...What's going  here?

Just got one on my cell.

A minute or so ago, I picked up and a recorded voice said "This is your captain speaking, you;ve won two free tickets", that's when I hung up

12-29-11; 12:22 pm EST received a call from this number. Recorded message of a ship horn and an announcement from "the captain" saying I will win a free cruise for answering a short survey. Not the first time I've received a call like this, wish they would stop.
