Someone trying a Wells Fargo PHishing Scam! via text! Don't reply!

Yeah, just got the Wells Fargo message too.

This number sent me a scam text claiming my Wells Fargo card is being deactivated. I don't have a Wells Fargo card. Do not reply.

This number just texted me saying that I need to contact them at 503 327 9452 because my wells fargo card has been deactivated. First of all, I don't have one, but if I did, Wells Fargo sure as hell isn't going to be sending out a text message to notify you that the card has been deactivated. Second of all, I'm sure that if I were to contact this number I would get a person who would ask for my SSN, account number, etc. It's very obviously a phishing scam, don't fall for it!

I received a fraudulent text message from this number on 9-16-11 saying that my Wells Fargo bank card had been deactivated. When I entered the number into a Google search all the results are in Chinese, even though the area code is local. I believe that hackers in China are using local numbers to try to scam people with Wells Fargo cards.

It's a confirmed fraud. They stole money put of my account.

However the withdraw was from an ATM in Romania... I don't think it's Chinese fraud... Because Chinese fraud is to sell you cheap crap legally.

I received the same WF deactivation notice but from a cell phone 541-460-3645. I sent a message to WF through their customer service center to alert them, but I'm half tempted to call and screw with them just for giggles.

I got the same text purporting to be Wells Fargo.  I also do not have a credit card with them.  I called Wells Fargo and they seemed pretty blase saying just not to reply and that I could email their online fraud department. Their only suggestion was to call Verizon and have the number blocked, which I did and also asked them to follow up on how this number, which is a corporate business number, was accessed. They said their fraud department would look into it.

I just got a spam text from this number for a dating site. It said "Jessica sent you pictures from (website, I can't remember the name and already deleted the message.)"

I just received an SMS from this number saying " Jessica sent me a pic from dateulove.com".  At least they aren't.trying to get Wells.Fargo banking using this number any longer! Considering.I am married and.female, I am.certainly.not going.to.click on.it!

Got the same message from jessic from dateulove.com and I deleted it also!

This was not a nice thing to do, I am happily married and now it has caused problems...these type of people should be shut down!
