Indian person calling no idea what they want I hang up

They call my phone at least half a dozen times a day. Says they’re from CBV collections for Rogers. Funny thing is, they’re calling me on my cell I just got like 3 months ago THAT IS THROUGH ROGERS!! It’s the first time I’ve ever had Rogers, and even if I hadn’t paid a cent on my bill from the start, it wouldn’t even be in collections yet! She kept asking me to verify who I was and I kept asking her what the account number was that she was calling about. She said she couldn’t give me that information until I verified who I was. I said I couldn’t give her that information until I verified this wasn’t a scam. She rattled off some number and said that it was their number and I could hang up and call the number and when they answered it would prove that it was not a scam. Wtf?!? [***], the only thing proven when I call some 1-800 number that rings right back to you is that you have a 1-800 number for your scam!

This number calls several times a day so today I answered and a male person with a thick east Indian accent spoke my first name and then  said to wait a moment as he was forwarding my call but nothing happened so I hung up.

They call my number 20 times a day every day but Sunday.  Don't know what they want but they do alternate numbers.

Sa fait des mois que sa appel sur mon cellulaire,presque a tout les jours et sa arriver 4-5fois dans une journee ,je nai pas de mauvais credit,et je ne connais personne de par la...g repondu une fois personne parlais et chaque fois je rejete lapel y ne laissons jamais de message sur ma boite vocal.   C frustrant!!

They call about 10 times a day. When I answer either a woman or a man with an east Indian accent tells me they are from a collection agency and then asks me to hold while they transfer my call. My call is then transferred to another person who asks me for my date a birth to confirm it really is me. I don't give it to them of course and when they ask why, I tell them that's personal information. Then they just hang up but they still keep calling every day sometimes using different numbers. Once they said they were with Kudo and other times they said they are with Roger's.  Sometimes I like to answer their calls to screw with them a little until they hang up on me lol.

They call several times a week,say they are calling for Rogers . I haven’t had a Rogers account in over 25 years because of crap just like this

Frigg they keep calling this my new cell number and they keep call i don't bother to answer there call same thing happen to another people just answer there call

Calls every day with this or another similar number...spoofing a New Brunswick number. It's CBV collections calling for a very old debt that they bought for little or nothing. I've been blocking/ignoring their calls for years now. Nothing they can do but keep calling.

They call my home phone I run to phone i pick up and nothing. I say hello hello and they hang up very frustrating... Then they ring my husbands phone and it says home phone and my husband thinks i called him..
But I didn't... How strange is that?

Most likely they spoofed your number to try tricking him into answering.

Called 2 days in a row... One saying it's for money mart which I've never used and one for Rogers which I've never had. They want you to provide personal info and get pretty pissed when you won't give it to them. They call now from different numbers... And hang up when I answer.

calling every single day from 2 different phone numbers & says they are CBV collections of Kudo but they want my birthdate & I say you tell me my birthdate if you have my information there & hangs up ..it is a scam & hope nobody falls for it as there could be some people that falls for it.

I've been receiving calls from 506-382-2438, 506-381-2079, and 506-383-5857 randomly for the last few weeks, all from the Moncton area.  They typically hang up, but one sometimes says that it's an important business call, while another tried to say they were Rogers and wanted to patch me through to another number but couldn't provide any information on why they were calling or provide me a reference number so I hung up.

They call repeatedly but I don't answer.  I don't have voicemail on my number so they can't leave a message.

I have their phone numbers blocked but yet somehow they manage to still call, whoever is on the other end breathes heavily into the phone for about 30 seconds then hangs up, I have both Borrowell and Credit Karma apps downloaded on my phone and have no items in collection. I’d love to know how they still get through when their numbers are blocked even my phone provider can’t figure out how their calls are getting through,very frustrating and annoyed at this point!!!!
