strange - called leave no messages - keeps calling - interesting that others have had this problem as well

Dave Steven called from 508-923-0310 to request to call back to collection agency 1-800-478-7421 ext 128 . Should I call ???

I just find out this call is from a legal and trusted agency.Its website is http://www.actioncollection.com. So I feel safe to answer back that call next time.

I got a call from this number they left a message looking for someone who is not me, they still keep calling. My name is not John, stop calling.

This is a call from a collection agency who handles medical billing.  people who haven't paid there old medical bills.  Sorry just like everyone else in this economy..i have no money.  Maybe they should stop raising copays, medicine, deductibles and hospitilazion fees.

So I guess Dave has the day off cuz I got a recorded message from an automated female voice. She didn't leave a message for me, she took my name from my VM (which is not Sam by the way), and the message was something like, 'We know your name is such & such. A 3rd party collection agency is trying to contact you about a business matter. Blah, blah, blah' Yeah, I don't think so. And no, I'm not calling you back.

They called my cell phone a week or so ago . I didn't answer and they  asked me to call back . The name they asked for isn't me . I called back and told them that they have the wrong person and number . They called again this morning and I answered . They again asked for someone who is not me . They are a collection agency and have no regard for who they harass . If they call again I will report them .

How's business , you must be busy with the bad economy !

They are also looking for someone named john who has debts, i am not him. This is a new cell, i didnt know they were allowed to call cellphones. Not as weird as the kid who called, insisted i was JB, and tried to sell me weed.

You people are pathetic! Get a life! I think everyone should spend their day making comments about whether or not someone is or isn’t who they say they are. And if "Dave" does work there, at least he has a job, it’s not his fault you don’t have money to pay your bills.

They called, I said hello. They said this is a message for Donna Marques or Marquez. And said if this is not you, hang up now.

No! It's a third party collection company they buy old debts and try to collect on them charge offs

ACA: no one will answer phone calls from you, you need to write people a letter with the details of the debt if indeed there is a debt. Its stupid to keep calling and frankly annoying! I will change my mobile # before I answer unknown calls. I will lobby to prevent companies like you from being able to call people time and time and time again on their mobile phones. No one wants to get a call and be intimidated into paying by a pushy collector.

Everyone, contact you congressman and lobby to prevent companies like these from abusing the phone system just to make money for themselves.
