- kirs filing lawsuit.
- Catherine Andrews| 1 replyI now have received at least 6 calls, from a variety of different numbers. #5093315118, #2026979235, #3174180406, #2027384336, #3074180406 and #3154008849. Most of them were automated telling me that this was a final call of an IRS investigation, or that a serious lawsuit had been filed against me. I actually called and talked to a man with a foreign accent telling me that the IRS were sending agents to my house to arrest me immediately. I need this to STOP!
- Caller: They claim its the IRS
- Russ JIRS Lawsuit
- ClaireScam calls - IRS - getting 2-3 per day from different numbers. Keep leaving messages about a claim.
- Concerned Citizen of United States| 1 replyHeard this number had called some family and friends so I thought I see what all the fuss was about. Called back and a foreign national answers the phone with "Insrrnureal Revenue Srivice". When I asked him to repeat himself, he made a poorer attempt at pronouncing what is otherwise easily pronounced. Then I asked for his ID or badge number: He balked, and said "you don't need that." I asked if he even understood what I was saying, as he sounded like a someone who may be here illegally, he became angry, and started to run down his entire lineage in broken English, none of which I understood. When I asked him if testing his English speaking skills was part of his application process to the scam he was running, he muttered something unintelligible. I then asked if he had something against the country he was now pestering with these phone calls, at which time he said something about "bombing?" (no joke). I popped back that the NSA loves to monitor phone calls and his just made their top 10 for the day, to which he replied "i gonna kick you(sp) ass!!!!" and promptly hung up.
In conclusion, have fun with the idiot on the other line, and do not let your blood pressure be moved one tick. Instead, raise his instead, and then document the phone call on websites like these, so that this cruel yet hilarious scam can die on the vine.

- CWG40 replies to lewis mininsonCall blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated
- CWG40 replies to Catherine AndrewsSee my previous notes Invest in a call blocker. Not perfect, but it can be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated. Calls originate from hardcore scammer/extortionists located in India and Pakistan.
- CWG40 replies to BonnieConsider a call blocker.
- CWG40 replies to PatriciaNever return the calls. They are looking for vulnerable people. If you call them back, they my think you are vulnerable in some sense or another and hammer you with even more calls.
