This number sent my child a text soliciting her for PRIVATE encounters belongs to David Johnson. Has been reported to the state police.

This number keeps texting me to have a good day and that he is looking for contacting like am on craigslist... The thing is, I have no ad for contracting and the only thing I posted was to sell a kids karaoke machine...

this number (+1 509 435 7389) Keep texting me about Jobs and weird opportunities that I am not even aware off.

Callers asks whether i'm still looking for work, though he doesn't say which company or
position he's offering.

I put an ad on CL looking for work with my number, 'David' text me with some pointless information about an online job service and now he's texting me every few days asking how the job search is going. Maybe he's just looking for friends, but I ain't the friendly type.

Received a text message from this number which said only "Hope you're having a great day! There is plenty of work out there. Keep up the search."  

It's scary because I am looking for work!  I notice another person had responded to an ad on Craigslist when she got a message from this number.  I also have responded to ads about jobs on CL's over the past couple of days.

The message (reported above) that I received was also signed "David".

I too receive text messages from "David" as well, telling me to have a good day and that a place call Deskgig was looking for only American citizens to avoid them looking for cheap labor. Seemed a little fishy if you ask me.

Ok this person or persons needs to be takin care of cause the unwanted texts are reallly  annoying,its phone harrassment! they are calling from spokane washington from a cell phone! verizon wireless carrier! im reporting them to the state police.

If you have AT&T, you can report spam texts to 7726. THen they will ask you for the number that is sending the texts.  I do it al the time. That should do it. God Bless!

This # texts me about a job, it goes to voicemail for David Johnston.

The company is Deskgig, and they have a website and a Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/deskgig. I also found their phone #- 1-800-805-0361. Perhaps we should call them and inform we do NOT care for this harassment and will be reporting it to the proper authorities.

I want to assure you that we are not a scam and sincerely apologize for the unwanted messages. We hired a marketing company to assist us in marketing our new services and have since discontinued utilizing their services once we found out that they were marketing in this way.

This number has been texting me every two hours for the last 14. This is even during the evening.

This number texted me after I posted something on craigslist. Kinda weird.

His user texted me after posting to Craigslist. I was looking for some work as a writer and was excited to get a response. After I discovered it was spam ( they responded with a long text within seconds if my reply... Pretty obvious) I was furious. Now the texts won't stop. If deskgig is a legit company they need to find a new marketing plan.

I continue to receive unsolictied and incredibly annnoying text messages from the number (509) 435-7389 from someone named David. A quick google search for this number shows dozens of smiliar complaints. I have traced the number to a man named David Johnston in Spokane, Washington, who is CTO of a company called BusinessTexter.com, who it appears was hired by a company called Deskgig.com to drive clients to their website. I have requested numerous times for David to stop texting me, yet the unsolicited texts still continue. I am currently employed and not looking for a job, yet all of the text messages are related to job searching.  

The first text was on 11/9/13 at 3:45 PM from (509)435-7389: "Are you still looking for a job? David"

The next text was on  11/10/13 at 3:48 PM  and read, "Hope you are having a great day! There is plenty of work out there. Keep up the search! David"

I did not reply to either of these messages.

The third text came on 11/11/13, and this time I replied and we had this exchange:

Me: I don't know you - we never spoke. I've already asked you politely to stop texting me 4:04 PM

From (509)435-7389:: If you are saying that you don't want to receive anymore messages please reply with these exact words " REMOVE ME! " Otherwise ignore this message. :) 4:04 PM

Me: According Arizona House Bill 2312 it's a class 2 misdemeanor and $10,000 time to send these unsolicited spam text messages. 4:06 PM
Me: Remove me now or the next call will be from the police! I don't know you and never opted in to getting your texts. You are costing me time and money. If I get one more text from you, I will be notifying the authorities in Arizona and Washington. Arizona House Bill 2312 4:09 PM

Me: Wow I'm sure the FTC will find this exchange with David Johnston the CTO of Business Texter incredibly fascinating! Especially since you just recently raised $250,000 of venture capital and are illegally harvetsing phone numbers from Craig's list and spamming people with unsolicited text messages, then blaming it on the recipient !

I just posted an ad on Craiglist and got the same text from David about looking at desk gig within 5 mins of my Craigs list post. Will try to block the number.
