I just came home from work and had a message that said ...... this message is , The reason for this message is that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you and to call that number back. The lady sounded very foreign. I didn't know the IRS was open at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon ??????

It isn't.. see my post above for where to report it! Block it if you have a call blocker.

Just called with a computer voice saying the IRS is sueing me. Didn't answer let the machine get it. SCAM.

The call had a "plus" sign in front of the area code. RED FLAG. Caller ID labeled it "unknown" Second RED FLAG.
never asnwered it. Put it immediately on call blocking.

Just did that, in fact.  Had a good time screwing with both the initial 'agent' and his supervisor.  Best part?  When they said to go to the bank to get the cash, I was instructed to 'tell no one about this matter, or I would be immediately arrested.'  Think I'll call them back on my way home; nice way to make the drive a little more fun.

Got a call at 7 am in California saying to call them immediately! Googled the number because we get these telemarketing calls constantly!! Found out it's an IRS scam! Why doesn't FAA help consumers with these callers who harass the public???? Scam scam scam!

just received a call recording:  "the irs has entered a suit against you"  call 509-587-3640

this is scary for me right now!

Also got a call today from 509 587-3640 saying there is a pending lawsuit with IRS to contact them immediately.  yeah right.   IRS does not call you.

Just has this happen to me. I asked what the error was that I supposedly made, the lady fumbled and hung up on me.

Just got a call from 509 587 3640 saying IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to return the call.  Really?  Sounded like a computer voice.

same IRS scam as others have reported.  The phone ID indicates Brewster Washington.

Voice recording on home phone saying the IRS did an audit and they found an error and the IRS has filed a law suit against me

Same thing IRS message was left on the answering machine buy a pre recorded voice saying the IRS was going to be suing us. Second time this has happened.

Same here.  IRS is suing me. right.

I received a phone call from 509-587-3640 on 8-15-2015 .   The message said that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me, and I needed to call them back at that same phone number.

I knew the IRS doesn't do things as such, so I went to 1800 notes and found these notes.  Since then, there are many more people who wrote about the same experiences.   One person actually called the number back, and the man demanded $3000.00 from them to make the lawsuit go away., of which over $7000 was owed to the IRS in back taxes.

These [***] are real slime.
