This number crank calls at 2am

I know it is a number to a mental hospital.

That number is the number to the Summit Medical Center in Berkely.  There is a Mental ward on the Harrick campus.  All number from that medical center come from that number.

This number does belong to the Summit Medical Center in Berkeley. Most likely the call is originating from the mental health ward - but a call from any phone in the hospital shows as 510-204-4444. I called the Herrick campus and asked the operator for the mental health ward. She asked which patient I wanted and became difficult when I told her I wanted to speak to someone in charge of the unit. I was finally connected with the mental health ward's secretary. She told me they have around 32 patients, and each patient has phone access - it is their right, so it could be any of them placing the calls to my phone. She asked if I had a name, no I didn't but I gave her the date and time of the calls, described the woman's voice and that she spoke something other than English or Spanish. The secretary thought she might know who it was and said she'd ask the patient's social worker to speak with her about the calls. So, next time you get called by this number, see if you can get the callers name (you might get lucky), then give that to the mental health department's secretary and hopefully go from there. Lacking a name, try to get any other identifying information you can, for instance when did the calls begin (they could check to see if a new patient was admitted that day, etc.), does the caller mention a name, a son or daughter? Good luck!

Thank you, anonymous. Been getting calls from that number in the wee hours. That explains it and your suggestions are good.

Just called did not leave a message.  Do not know this phone number.  Wanted to know why they called do not give my number just to people that I know.

Got a call last night 11 PM, PST, 2/18/13, on my cellphone. Left no message. # listed to Herrick hospital in Berkeley.

Received a call from 510-204-4444 at 2:08 p.m. Female caller did not identify herself and when I asked her who she was with she declined to say; told her I had made many phone calls to Google and she confirmed she was not with Google and immediately hung up.  

Received a call at 6:03 PM, I didn't pick up because a number with the same digits look like a business/company number to me so I wanted to see if they left a message, but they did not.

Get a call from this number and they left a message saying that it was a Doctor Nowanda,  returning my call even though I've never called them...

Called at 4am.   Let the phone ring once and hung up.

I couldn't answer because I'm at work. :(
