I got a text from another number which inreported, telling me my credit card was deactivated and to call 510-214-7954

My Wife and I got the same txt this evening.

Yes.  Very daring to do this.  In the age of tracking drones being used on US citizens, why hasn't all crime been stopped.

Jes got me an tex to.  Said CARD was DEACTIVATED.  Taint got nuh CARD, nope.

Text came from 870-347-7892: Financial Benefits C.U Alert:  Your card has been deactivated. Please contact us at 510-214-7954.

Recorded message ask you to enter your credit card number.  Whatever you do , do not do this and delete text and report this to your bansk asap.

Recorded message ask you to enter your credit card number. Do not enter any credit card number. Report this to your bank asap and delete text after writing down info. Also contact your state attorney General asap. This happened after I was activating a new credit card.
Contact your bank as soon as possible, Be aware of these low lifes.

Just got a text as well, from (313) 310 7289. "FINANCIAL BENEFITS C.U. ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED.  Please contact us at 510-214-7954."  I did call the number, and entered my card and expiration date as instructed by the automated voice, before deciding against giving her my pin number, and hanging up to call my bank.  There was nothing to identify this organization, but I was lured by the fact that they called themselves "Financial Benefits C.U." and my card is with a credit union.  Should have known it was a scam by the excessive use of capital letters.

Got the text as well - notified my bank and the vendor that I had placed an order online. I received the text soon after placing the order.
