They called me saying they would contact my employer regarding money laundering and that I would be under arrest. I have never barrowed or taken any money...why I know this is a scam is they refused to provide me with any paperwork.

i just got a phone call from these people and they said that i owed these people money and that they would send a police after me and arrest me but i never heard of these people and that they will be severing me papers but at the same time he was requesting this payment in one hour and the guy that i was talking to always sounded the same. by the way and when i told him to talk to my former police officer friend he got really upset and hung up on me. if he was really a lawyer then why would you just hang up.

I too got a call from this number. saying i owed 3500 dollars for a loan that I was supposed to repay within 7 days but didn't. Always the same guy. East indian I think by his voice. What about you guy's?

i got the same phone call and i talked to a lawyer from a credit report angency because most likly if you owe a payday loan company they will put it on your credit score and i had my lawyer look back and he told me nuttin there existed and when i called the people back from the same number and spoke to there so called lawyer he yelled at me and told me  that i could no be trusted and they will see me in court. and like my lawyer said to anyone out there  don't pay them any attetion only because it's illegal to call your job and to sent the police to your resident because you didn't steal anything because they have to process the loan and oki it before they even give it to you. and if you get these calls again just call your local police department and make a claim is for  what i was told.

This number has been showing up on my landline and cell phone way to many times.  So I answered my cell today.  The man told me he was calling from some law firm.    I was asked for personal information; social security number; if i had an attorney; and there was some "type" of fraud involved. I asked him to forward written information to my P.O. Box.  He informed me that my mailbox was closed, which of course it ISN'T.  He then told me to contact  an individual (attorney) and gave me his number which is the same one listed above.  I returned the call (to 510-214-8399) and was given an ext. 359 to ask for.  When I did this, I was asked a bunch of questions which I wouldn't answer until I spoke with the person I was told too.  In fact, I told the male that I was talking too, I wouldn't answer his questions until I established the source's credibility.  In other words, I told him I thought I was being "scammed."  I kept asking him to allow me to speak to the person at ext. 359 and he kept hesitating.  Finally, he said he would transfer me and was placed on hold.  I waited and waited for someone to pick up.  No one did.  So, I hung up.  I told a friend of mine about this call and she told me to Google the number and ended up at this site.  It's great to have a place where you can report these types of incidences and let others know they're being scammed.

Yes, everyone I spoke with Josh was from that region (East India) of the world.  Some of them were very difficult to understand.

I have received several calls from this number, with harassing voicemails left each time informing me they would have me fired and arrested. I don't owe anyone money, so I told them to go ahead and file suit. They keep calling and harassing me for no reason.

Just call them back until they answer and let themknow you contacted the attorney generals office and to quit calling because you know it is a scam and he told me. They would quit calling me. But you have to be firm about it.

@Michigan reside. So It is illegal for them to keep contacted my human resource office at work? Because they have along with the number 732-230-4253

i have just checked my voicemail at work and there was a message from this number. it was a guy with a india accent but i could not understand what he is saying

I received the same call he was very rude. He said there were 3 counts against me. Then processed to tell me he could talk to the representative to get the balance of 3487.00 reduced to 1250 that I have to use a prepaid debt from Walmart but not to buy anything until I call him back which I thought was weird. He said he could only do it if I was for sure I would have the money I said yes I do..I lied though so when he called back to told him I couldn't get the money he was outraged he said in 30mins an officer would get in contact with me....I said ok he told they would come to my job the next day and arrest me I told him ok...the only info he had was my work place name and the last 4 digits of my social but he wouldn't provide any paperwork for me. He said when they send in paperwork for court then he could give me the info...Smh ppl need to quit the foolery

So i'm not alone in this mess....i was informed a law suit is being held against my name and social security number and i better not disregard this message. Now as classy as I am...Lord know I called back to share a few well thought words to this guy (with an Indian accent). I receive more call for strange number you never knew exist, then from people you actually know. Something has to be done, because enough is enough. What's the purpose of being registered with the Do Not Call List if it lacks doing its job SMDH

i got the same call they call my cell number and said i would be going to jail and the poilce will be on there way i was glad i am able to check this out thanks guys.

These people are running a scam. They are trying to get money from people by saying there is a legal matter at hand. If you don't correct this matter the outcome will fall on you.
I don't want them calling me again. The dummy left a message I could get him charged with phone abuse.

Clearly a scam, I recieved a voicemail today from an indian guy who doesnt know how to talk saying there was a very serious issue at hand. lol I just laughed, and laughed even harder when I saw all these comments. One call is all i got but if they harass me I'll be doing something about it! Stick to your guns people and just ignore it. Indian people = Scam

i told them oh to bad i am a hobo and this phone i found on the street and they can kiss my u no what i no this stuff is no for real i would get papers not this kina call so u no i messes with them and they keep calling so i told them iam callin the cops they still keep callin iam callin sprint to block the number

I received several calls from 510-214-8399 and a threatening message was left.  It was a forgein speaking person, very difficult to understand making threats that if I did not return the call I would have my file sent to the property authorities and I would be arrested.  The rest was to difficult to undrestand.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY MONEY. IT IS AGAINGST THE LAW TO THREATEN THE WAY THEY DO
