Something about medical braces to relieve pain paid for by medicare. Press 1 to speak to a rep. or press 9 to be removed from calling list. If you press 9 you are directed to the rep anyway. I told her to quit calling me and hung up.

CallerID = Unknown Name  Obvious robocall, recorded unaccented woman's voice. "This is Nancy calling from Medicare about eligibility for pain relieving back brace.  We have made repeated attempts to contact you by mail. If you do not answer, Medicare will mark you uneligible for ccoverage.  Press 3 to speak to someone. Press 9 to be placed on Do Not Call List."
It is notable that this call was fifth in a string of other spam calls and second from this number - this time I listened to the whole pitch and tried to write down so I could report to both FCC and Medicare - which is worth doing sometimes. Similar calls or calls within a short time frame also from 510-214-8643 510-229-4536, 458-219-6462, 510-812-4399, 510-602-1852, 510-710-1778, 510-301-8588, 510-319-3981 ....
Obviously related to same call center -they need to be slapped with a billion dollar fine by the FCC.

Congress needs to pass “Robocall Elimination At Last Protecting Every American Consumer's Ears (REAL PEACE) Act” (S. 3668) introduced on November 28, 2018.  This legislation would close the telecom loophole used by robocallers and allow the FTC to prosecute illegal callers.  S. 3668 was not passed before the 115th Congress adjourned on January 3, 2019, and the bill will need to be reintroduced to be considered in the 116th Congress.  Write your Senator!
