This number has called me three times over the last week and never left a voicemail. I don't know anyone in California so I didn't answer.

Got a call from 510 214 8714 at 9am, had no idea who it was. Thanks for the above postings. I am on the DNCR & yet I still get unwanted calls; what's the point of the registry?

Got a call from this number.  I don't know anyone in Alameda, CA so I didn't answer.

What is the purpose of the Do Not Call list?

There is absolutely no point in the DNCR.  I've registered 3 phones 3 times - doesn't stop them.  Our government could do better at regulating this if they were at all concerned.

Same thing here - my cell phone # - AGREE gov. should be getting this taken care of - calls EVERY day from multiple #'s with no message left - I now do NOT answer any call from a number and/or name I do not know...
