i received a call that i initially missed and it went to voicemail and the caller had a accent that i barely understood what he was saying. I had to play the msg several times. The caller stated all my info address info, where i worked and ending of my ss# and stated that i owed money on some loan and they could help.i called the number back and the number did not work it went through but it was a long silence i called back two more times with the same results. the following day i actually forgot about it but my co-worker took a msg and wrote down it was from an officer Justin Floy that had an heavy accent and stated he was from AC law.i called the number back and it didnt work so i waited 15 minutes and called again and all of a sudden the number worked and the same man that left the msg answered the phone and immediatly put me on hold while he verified my information, i asked sir how can you verify my information and i didnt even give you a name he snapped and said just hold please. i said what is this pertaining to he didnt answer and then proceeded to tell me that the number you are calling from is blocked i need your number i asked for what, and again what is this pertaining to he said you owe 300 on a loan that was successfully put in your account last year i told him thats immposible i have my bank statements and no money was put into my account he tells me that i have a court date friday (today is wednesday) , and i say this friday he says yes i said how come this is the first time i heard of this. he gets pissed i also ask what court and what time he says you will find out when i send an officer to your job to escort you to court. and he hangs up. i knew this souded wierd because you should get a supponena first before a court date, and i didnt get a loan.I also thought someone was useing my name, and friday was april 1st so i wondered if someone was playing a april fools prank on me, but it also made me nervous because no one should have any information on me. so i called the police and made a report. i also googled the number and found many complaints on this number.
